Oh, I'm so glad your kitty is feeling better. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.

Thanks, DogMa! So far, she's still looking great! :) We baby her a lot. She deserves it! She's stuck with me a long time.

Hi, Sharon! I have to admit, I've fallen off the exercise wagon all the sudden! I had my last meet with the trainer last Thursday, and I haven't exercised since! Friday I worked two jobs and went to a b-day party in between the two; Saturday I got off work, slept, then packed up the car and went camping; Sunday spent tubing, then unpacking and taking care of Johnny; Monday worked all day then caught some live music after work with friend Melissa. Today I work then have a hair appt. after. I think I'm really going to have to start making it a priority to get up early. At least that way I know I'll have some cardio done in the morning, and it's ok if I miss weight training after work from time to time.

Back on the exercise track tomorrow, or I really won't be ready for the next meet with Allie!

:deadhorse:

Useful for getting people to comply. Or exercise. :) Too bad our state's so big, or I'd just head over there to get you up and out!

LOL!! I love it! I promise to get up early tomorrow and run 'til my legs turn to jelly! Just don't take after me with the stick!

Reminds me of when I was a kid, my dad was pastor of a small church in Jacksboro, Texas. My little brother is 5 years younger than me and was quite the active one. I still remember Mom threatening repeatedly that he'd better be quiet and still during the service. She finally gave up and stood up to try and sneak him out quietly. Just as she got into the middle of the aisle, little bro burst out, "Don't hit me Mama! Please don't hit me!" Poor Mom. That's why I'm not having kids. I might have boys!

HA!! A little kid at the airport did the same thing one day! When it was very clear the parents did NOT hit her.

I used to threaten to call Child Protective Services all the time, after they gave us the number in school in case we were abused.

Whenever my mom was mad at me, she'd say someday I'd have a daughter just like me and I'd understand. So i never had kids, either. My daughter has four legs and fur. And she's a brat, but at least she doesn't talk back.

Same here! Although sometimes she does whine to be let outside!

LOL!! Too true!

I have four cats and a dog. Sometimes when I walk into a room from outside and have 5 pairs of eyes look up at me, it actually weirds me out! How did we end up with so many?!? And one of the cats really does talk back!

I have the best daughter in the world. Sure, she has her moments (what woman doesn't right?), but all in all she is a great kid. I am lucky to have her. I am even more lucky that my mom's wishes for me to have one just like me didn't come true!

I always tell my cousin SHE got the daughter my mom tried to curse me with. Her daughter's a great kid, but she's 13 right now so she definitely has her moments.

And Mo actually does talk back to me, too, sometimes. My cat used to, too.

We have two Pembroke Welsh Corgies, talk about a dog that talks back to ya. OMG! These two will come when we call, but they complain about it the whole way!
