bad week altogether

Postby rayray » July 8th, 2006, 6:35 am

Well this week I completely fell off the wagon and hit every bump that i could possibly hit!!!! I wasnt compliant at all this week! I decided this week I am not going to weigh in and that I am restarting myself as of this morning! I know I put back on like 3 pounds, but I AM NOT going to let it discourage me!!! So I am putting it in writing on here: I WILL STAY ON PLAN THIS WEEK! for each day that I am compliant and stay on plan I will allow myself to sleep 20 min extra on the weekend, for me I dont normally sleep in so that is a nice treat. I typically get up at like 7, so if I can stay on plan all next week starting today I can sleep til 9:20. I know what my problem is, its that when I am at work I just completely let myself slip and eat when the kids eat. The funny thing is I can remember exactly what I ate, and I feel guilty. So I am going to promise myself that I can do this and try to take it one day at a time! Have a great week ya'll!!

Great Job, RayRay!!! Extra sleep would be a huge incentive for me, too.

I like to remind myself that bumps in the road are something called LIFE and unfortunately it dosen't stop because we're all on a diet. Don't beat yourself up. It's the slow, steady consistancy over time that wins the battle. I'll let you in on a secret: I drank a beer last weekend. :x Yikes !Hang in there!

Yep, just get right back on. And depending on the schedule, you probably CAN eat when the kids eat. You just can't eat WHAT the kids eat.

I know I can eat when the kids eat and not what they eat. And this week i just caved altogether and ate what they ate, and I totally regret it!

Hmmmm,
Remember, we never fail until we quit altogether!! Life is full of learning experiences, we learn --then we move on forward. You'll be fine...you learned and now you're on track again.

Next week will be great for you. I used to teach K and some of the snacks we had weren't even appetizing, but I ate them cause I was hungry.

Now, HS kids don't have snack breaks, but I still see them bringing the foods in and the 5 minute breaks between classes where they sell for club fund raisers.

I use the time to have oatmeal cookies or something I have made and brought in. You get over it quick, especially when people start commenting.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! :woohoo:

This is a new week and you'll do great!
One MAJOR thing that helped me early on was to come here and read like mad. Mostly in the studio. ;)
