An awsome NSV

Postby big ron » February 26th, 2007, 8:30 pm

The healthy benefits of this plan are without a doubt miraculous.

My wife is a type 1 diabetic always thin works out never drank or drugs eats healthy. Well she went to Dr.s this week and during the workup he diagnosed her with Hypertension. This really bummed me out not only for her but for me also as I have had High Bloodpressure for a few years with readings in the range of 180/110+ The doctors put me on two types of pills and had me self check daily and couldnt lower my blood pressure. I stopped taking the pills because of the way I felt on the medication. I know I was a stroke waiting to happen. I havent checked my bloodpressure in a while. For comparison I checked my Bloodpressure and it was 112/84. I have checked it multiple times each day and it has never been high this week. I am so hopefull this gets even better as I get in shape, I am by far a long way to healthy but this is an awsome NSV for me.

Good news for my wife she has started medication and hers is coming down for her.

Excellent Ron. I know how great it feels to have those numbers go down. I used to be on 2 meds for diabetes, 2 for hypertension, one for cholesterol and an asthma inhaler. Now I just keep the inhaler handy when I need it and my Dr. wants to keep me on the water pill because he feels its just safer that way for now.
My BP was 116/64 at last check and my blood sugar is running at 95 for a while now.

Great NSV for you, and we are all sure you will be having many more as the weight comes off. Congrats to the wife also.

I am also an Asthmatic and go through an inhaler every 4to6 days. Have been on every new medicine and treatment without help. My best NSV would be if I can get off my inhaler or at least not use it often.

Tony you are awsome your success gives me hope

Sharon thanks for the kind words
