Yup. My boxer, Chloe, was born with a congenital eye defect where she had an extra set of eyelashes that were growing inward - toward her eyeballs. The vet ophthalmologist performed eye surgery and took care of it, and nearly 12 years later she's still fine. She just had a birthday (Feb 15), and she's 12 now...pretty old for a boxer. She's still pretty spry and in great physical shape, but I know that won't last very much longer. I'm enjoying her sweetness while I can. Isn't she beautiful? She has much more white in her face now, though..but it just adds character!
