Good morning ladies! I'm here! Thanks for stopping by T! I'm dealing with a very demanding baby today. I don't know how you can do it with two at a time.

I have located a backpack carrier and have gotten a return email from the lady getting rid of it. Hopefully she'll return my call today and I can pick it up tonight or tomorrow. Then I'll go cave walking for the day on Saturday.

I'm glad I can entertain you OC! I entertain the baby all day I might as well entertain some adults too right?

Katie, it is absolutely gorgeous down here in San Antone! It was a cool 66 when I walked the kids to school this morning. Supposed to be in the low to mid 90's the rest of the week. Not too bad when it isn't too humid.

Kids ages-oldest (son) turned 10 at Christmas, oldest daughter turned 9 at Thanksgiving, middle daughter turned 7 last month and baby girl will be two at the end of the month.

My kids definitely keep me busy. Well busier than I'm used to but I DO love it. We have scouts two nights a week--son is in boy scouts too. And with the warmer weather we have been taking family walks at night after dinner. Plus the whole reason we moved cross country was so I could be the happy stay at home mom that I used to be.

You're gonna get me going on a mini rant here...I LOVED my job. I used to work with developmentally disabled adults in a group home setting (think of your own house). Trying to teach them everything from how to shower to how to cook dinner. It was a great job until I started moving up and started supervising. Not liking that so much. When I quit I was running my own house. Anyway, when there were only three kids and I was doing that it was great. All the kids were in school and I only worked evenings one night a week and then a few hours one weekend each month. Well, when I got pregnant and then had baby I wasn't so happy with the job. I had to carry a pager every other week because we were so short staffed. And when baby was little she was colicky. So, daycares didn't want to deal with her.

So, finally, I can stay home and do that which I enjoy most-be mommy. Like I said earlier, baby is being demanding right now but mostly it's just for my attention. She wants to 'read' and wants me to sit with her. It's worth every minute when she's sitting next to me and looks up and say "wuv you mommy'. Or hollars 'kisses, kisses' when I tell her I'll be right back cause I need to use the bathroom.

Okay, going to go find the measurements I took this morning and post them on the challenge thread and then here. Gotta go up to my bathroom to get the paper.

Be back after I get her down for a nap.

I didn't realize you were in San Antonio. I was considering meeting a friend there next month, but instead I'm going to Austin on Memorial Day weekend; it's closer than I thought (3 hours, Mapquest says), so I'm pretty excited. Just booked my hotel on Priceline, as a matter of fact.

One of my best friend's parents lives in San Antonio, though, so I was there last year for her engagement party. Nice town (although I musta missed something with that whole River Walk area; why is it so popular??).

OK, now I'm getting gabby, too.

Ha! Maybe I'm contagious with the gabbiness!

Yah, I don't know what's up with the whole riverwalk thing. I've been there once when my parents came down last year and that was enough for me. Before I moved down here I worked with someone that had just relocated from here to Indiana. She warned me not to eat there because it would cost me an arm and a leg. We did the boat tour just to get some history. That's another place that isn't very stroller friendly.

I did enjoy the Alamo tho. Bren and I walked through the riverwalk mall and enjoyed the water from there when she was down.

I drove through Austin on my way down here. Had a big truck throw a rock and crack my windshield while I was driving there.

You'll have to let me know if you're ever going to be down this way. We can meet for a meal or something!

Okay, was going to post stats here. I did that 100 day challenge and started on 2/4 and that's when I took the first measurements.

Starting weight 223.0 current weight 200.8 down 22.2 total

Neck was 14.75 now 14 -.75
the girls were 45.5 now 42 -3.5
underneathem 40.75 now 38 -2.75
true waist was 41 now 37 -4
belly button was 44 now 40 -4
hips were 48.75 now 43.5 -5.25
thigh 27.5 now 25.75 -1.75
above knee was 22.5 now 20 -2.5
calf was 17.75 now 16.5 -1.25
ankle was 10.25 now 9.5 -.75
bicept 14.5 now 13.75 -.75
forearm 11.5 now 11 -.5
wrist 6.75 now 6.5 -.25

total inches lost in those areas 28 inches. I guess that's not too bad for a couple of months right.

I'm sure I forgot to say that I got an ab-lounger from one of my neighbors. I've been doing that every other night before I go to bed. I can get through about 50 crunches total. I do 10 regular, 10 to each side (20), ten with a 'pulse' the woman on the dvd calls it, and then 10 regular again. So, I KNOW I'm making more muscle on this body.

Okay, I guess I'm done with my novel for the day. Gonna go switch the laundry while baby is napping. Got a call back from the baby carrier lady. Gonna go pick it up when baby is done napping so I hve to get some stuff done while baby is down.

I wish I had more time to respond from here at work, but I loved reading all about your day and the kids and your INCREDIBLE loss of inches! :D I, too, enjoy your gabbiness and hope you keep it up. Skye - 28" is an incredible loss and I am so thrilled for you. CONGRATULATIONS!

Mike and I joke about the baby carriers and how after we have kids it'll be his turn to carry the baby around. I think they are adorable.

Hello all! I'm back again. I always seem to get 'lost' on the weekends. I never get a chance to get on here it seems. Well, we went to the cave on Saturday and while my 'big' kids LOVED it the baby absolutely HATED it. She screamed A LOT. The cave we went in was a lot wetter than any other I've ever been in. It dripped the whole way through. I should mention that baby does NOT like to be wet. Other than that it was fun. I got my workout in. Once we were done with the actual cave we have to walk back out/up. One hundred stairs up the guide said. I did that with a 30 pound baby on my back. Not too shabby right.

Not much else to report. Baby is in a foul mood today. Just got her up from her nap and she's screaming at me for who knows what???

Weight today 199.8. UNDER 200. Only 4.8 to go to get to 90#'s down. 185 here I come (even 100 down at 185).

Ok, gotta go do some stuff.

YAY!!!! For being under 200. Congratulations!!

And yeah, we ate at the river walk. Overpriced, and there's SO much better Mexican food around. And for the honor of eating there, we had to wait almost an hour. We drove past the Alamo but didn't get to go in because we were so short on time.

Hello all! Been lurking off and on all day. Reading and minor posting. Thanks guys for the well wishes and congrats. My under 200 weight was short lived. My own fault. 201 this morning. I ate a hot dog with a bun two days ago for lunch. I made one for the baby and I was eating one before a thought ever crossed my mind. It's strange how many times I think I've changed my habits and then I end up putting food in my mouth without thinking about it.

Been working my butt of on my ab lounger-ok, belly, not butt! I've got 150 in so far today and it's in the middle of my room so I can do another 50-60 when i get the baby down. I know that it's making a difference tho cause i went to Target last night to get the girls new swim suits and decided to grab a pair of 14 Merona capri's. Well, they fit and I've got them on today.

I've decided I'm going to be a little less obsessed about the number on the scale and more obsessed about my actual size. FUnny thing is that when I started this way back when I was just hoping to get into a 16 again. I'm there and then some so I'm just going to pay attention to how healthy I feel now. So, that's me today. Daughters have field day at school tomorrow (was canceled today due to rain last night). So I will be spending part of my day at the school tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check in sometime.
