Anyone ever try the banana shake with Kahlua syrup?

Postby ladyhawke » September 10th, 2005, 3:47 am

FF Kahlua of course, before I spring for the kahlua syrup, I'm just trolling for input.

The T J Maxx in my neighborhood marks the Davinci syrup down to $3.00 a bottle and I thought I spotted the Kahlua there just waiting for me.

WOW that sounds sooo good. Reminds me of a drink I had on my honeymoon in Jamaca - a dirty bannana. Did you try it yet ??? Let us know, Mytime

I haven't tried it in the Bananna shake, but oh my gosh it is GOOD in the Cappucino shake. I know the Cappucino is supposed to be HOT, but I'll be darned if it doesn't taste JUST LIKE A STARBUCKS FRAPPUCINO if you use cold water, ice and your favorite flavoring. I'm totally addicted to my nightly Cappuncino shake that makes me think I'm having dessert.

Definitely try it. They also sell it at the Super-WalMarts around here, medium sized bottle for around $3 something...

Mommy2girls OMG the cappuccino in the Magic Bullet with ice rocks my world and the Chai Latte the same way is so good it is not to be believed, I add a little nutmeg on top of the chai latte.

I never liked the real chai latte as much as the MF.

Nancy, no I didn't I only have 3 banana shakes left and I have tried so many Davinci syrups and I only like the gingerbread and hazelnut.
If I see it today maybe I will buy it for 3.00, I'm going down that way.
Update later.

OK so now I'm upset. Noone ever told me about Cappuccino shakes. I had no idea we could make a shake out of it. Especially if it tastes like a FRAPPUCINO OMG thats the one thing I miss is my CARMEL FRAPPUCINO. My creative juices are flowing right now, I must order some next time.

Kim, I read about the shakes on this forum, there was just a little blurb and I took it and ran with it, Ok now I am telling you (no one told me either so don't feel bad)

Hot, the cappaccino tastes like Dunkin Donuts Dunkachino, I heat it up and put cinnamon on it and cold in the Majic Bullet with 7 ice cubes and about 1/3 water tastes like the Starbucks Frappaccino.

The Chai latte is something else, I love it both hot and cold and I put nutmeg on top of the cold one.

Kim, that is funny (sorry! :3head:) because I never was TOLD about it, I just did it. I THOUGHT  I had read you could make it cold or hot on the package directions and went for cold. Then months later, I actually RE-READ the instructions and realized that they did not include directions for cold, only hot. Well, I was too far in love at that point to start having them hot, and since I'm not adding anything other than flavoring, I figured it was legal.

They really do replace that Starbucks Frappucino craving. Really. They are THAT good, and nutritious!!!

I would definitely order some.... :puter:

Hunny ~

We're not witholding recipes from you! Look in the Lean Cuisine...it's there. I also wrote about it in the Monthly Specials and in a Newsletter...ya gotta read past posts, Folks...there's lots of juicy stuff buried in here. Many others have listed similar recipes in there.

Here's one
http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/diet-1188.html

Check out my Monthly Specials as I often mention little ideas for packet preparation there.

I guess I have to do my homework, and research old posts. I dont like the idea of missing out on good shake tips. So I will be headed in that direction.

Kim, I'm telling you it saved me, I had something good to look forward to, make sure you order enough because you will drink it every day.
Do you have a Majic Bullet?
I got mine at Target I think it was 59.00 but well worth it if you are on MF.
