I need a weight loss buddy to motivate me! Anyone around the same weight as me want some friendly competition?

Lost 34lbs and over 30 Inches. Regained 9lbs. Down 4lbs on vacation in Jamaica - yeehaw!
Waiting for Doctor's clearance to restart MF.

Hmmm ... I wonder if the word "competition" got in the way of your invitation? I'm too far from you weight-wise to qualify, still, I know the only "comparison" I need is myself: Do I feel better? Do my clothes fit nicer? Are they getting too big?

For me, how I compare with others is no longer a concern. Perhaps that was part of my problem in the first place--If I couldn't be as slim as so-and-so then I was a failure, so to speak. What I need from this forum is support and encouragement--not competition. But that's me.

Good luck reaching your goal ... you certainly don't have very far to go!

Beth, if I weren't still so heavy I would gladly join you in some "friendly" competition! QT and I have one going on right now and I am really excited by it!

I love a friendly competition. When you get to goal, talk to me. We can have a maintenance competition with prizes! :mrgreen:

Oh, I love prizes!!! Right now my prize is just losing weight. That is nice enough.

I hope you find a buddy for a healthy competition Beth! If I was between 145-150, I'd be at GOAL!

I'm kind of bummed Tankgirl isn't posting anymore, she and I had a little friendly wager going! My plateau will break soon and I'll be back in the race...with myself!
