another 2 lbs

Postby krandle » September 27th, 2004, 8:23 am

I am down another 2 lbs. That is something but i thought it would be more. So that comes to a total of 20.5 lbs in a month. Could this be pms? Should i take a diuretic. Well good luck all and keep up the good work! :)

Howdy Krandle.

Not to rain on your parade, but I am misunderstanding something. It has been one month, and you have lost 20#?!?! This equates to 5 pounds a week. You expected more? This is a miraculous amount of weekly weight to lose in just one month. Since I cannot answer to the PMS part, I am not sure if you should be losing more (water retention?) however, I know there are many females on this board that struggle immensely to see the progress you have made in just one month….. Congratulations….

20 pounds is stupendous!

I'm obviously not a doctor but I don't think diurectics are a good idea. Extra water loss changes levels of stuff like potassium and may make you feel woozy. Also, you'd gain that water back when the pill wore off - maybe resulting in no loss for a couple of days.

Just hang in there - the monthly junk will pass and those pounds will fall off.

Keep up the good work!!!!
