Its been one of those long and crazy weeks. I have to laugh about things today though. I went grocery shopping (I go to 3 different stores) and at one of the stores my cart was mostly pizzas and tv dinners for my hubby and kids lol. I've gotten soooo tired of making seperate meals for myself and them (hubby wont eat it if its not covered in red sauce) but they wont mind thats what they are always asking for anyway. Now maybe 2 days a week or more I just wont cook for them!

This week has been one of constantly being on the move and I didnt get all the water I needed on a couple of those days so my results for this week are actually really good. I started taking measurements at the end of my first week (I was too excited when I first started to do that part lol), and I take the measurements every 2 weeks so I can see loss when the scale is going slow. Sooo here goes...........

My weight today 215.4 lb (-2.2 for the week)

Chest under the girls 35 1/2" (-1in.)

Chest over the girls 44" (same)

Upper waist 40" (-1 1/4")

Mid waist 41" (.5")

Lower waist 43 1/2" (1")

Hips 43 3/4" (1")

Upper Thigh 23.5" (1.5")

calf 14" (same)

Upper Arm 12 3/4" (.5")

Neck 13.5" (.5")

I have a total of 7.25 inches lost in the last 2 weeks, wow! So hey this is really workin! Thanks everyone for all the encouragement I have been given in my journal and around the board!!!!!

Thanks guys! Sorry if I dont make it around to everyones journals to spread the encouragement, but I too have been very busy lately and yes as everyone on here has been saying the site is veeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyy slow! I am happy to report that I have made it to my second mini goal of 215 on the dot this morning :whoohoo: so my next goal is 210 which I havent seen since nearly 2 kids ago. I will get there soon enough, I keep buying clothes and by the time I actually wear them they are too big so I bought a bunch of sweat type shorts that adjust so I wont have to worry about my bottoms falling off (which happened at the store last week, eeekkk) and now that I met this last goal I will somehow and somewhere get a tan! My husband has actually started being much more helpful with all of this, which is suprising. He's always been the kind of guy that says I'm beautiful fat or thin, and when I'm fat he says I'm perfect but now he says I'm better and I guess that kinda brings up unexpected emotions too; like maybe by saying I'm better now means I really was bad before, so like a man he says he cant win no matter what he says lol. Well enough of this, hope everyone is doing good and continues that way!

I am back, I took a hiatus for awhile. I am the sensative type and have found that no matter when-ever or where-ever I make a post outside of my journal it is met with some sort of needless drama or scrutiny which makes me not want to bother with any of it. But there are some really great people on here that I respect and appreciate there input and encouragement, but from now on I will keep everything to myself here in my journal! As for MF it is still going good. My kidney disease flared up after being in check for a long while so my Dr had me add more regular meals last week to make sure it wasnt the MF causing the problems. I ate more lean and green but continued to use the supplements too. I felt horrible from Thursday through yesturday. I have restarted completly with just the MF again today (although this is not a true restart as I never quit) I just felt too sick eating so called real food and now actually prefer the MF so if my kidney blows up who cares at least I will be skinny lol! No worries though I always take my health first so I just will take it easy. Thanks everyone that has shown great compassion for me on here!

Hey AQ,

Sorry to hear about your kidney problems. I hope everything is calmed down now. Good for you for sticking to the plan even after such a difficult time. You're gonna reach your goals in no time! Hope you're enjoying today's sunny weather. I hope the snow that's predicted for tomorrow misses us completely. It's spring already!

Hey there friend. I am sorry that you face such negativity around the board. Try to remember that sometimes some people are kinda grumpy when they are on a "diet". While I hesitate to call MF a "diet" some think of it that way and that makes them even more grumpy.

I am proud of you for holding on while you are facing such difficult medical issues. I hope you are feeling better and that you are able to get back on the full plan without any troubles.

Thanks for stopping by my journal. I always smile when I see you have come by. Let me know if you need anything!

 AQ, i was wondering where you were! I thought you were missing because of the site's slowness. Anyhoo, just keep in mind that around here, there are so many different personalities, some are destined to clash. If you have questions/comments, feel free to ask them in the appropriate thread. If you see the drama/scrutiny starting, ignore it and focus on getting the information you originally posted for.

Now on to the kidney...please be EXTREMELY careful! Did your doctor authorize you to start full MF again?????? Or was that something you decided to do on your own? Did he say that it was possibly the higher protein levels that caused the flare-up? Was there something he recommended (like additional water)? I am asking these questions because i am going to STAY ON YOU GIRLIE!!! Seriously tho, please be careful! But i am glad to see you back. :D [/size]

I had kidney surgery a few years ago cuz it was unexpectedly blowing up like a balloon. In the middle of a night I went to use the bathroom and by the time I got back to bed my entire right side was paralized, I was rushed to the hospital via ambulance and had surgery the next day. I was did an experimental treatment and the disease has been dormant up until this past week, so going through the different things that I have done lately MF was really the only change so just to be safe added extra due to high inflamation in the body not caused by the protien. So with that said we do not believe that it is MF causing the problem just my crazy body always workin against me! But I seem to regenerate fairly quickly and although last week I gained less than 2lbs I lost that over night so it was obviously water which is good to know. I appreciate everyones concern and I didnt mean to post it to get attention so please dont think that if you are. I am physically up and down but mentally always crazy lol!
