Noticed a portable hand-held mixer available on QVC dot com ...looks like it might be a great shake mixer to travel with or keep in the car or at the office. It is Item # K1531 if you want to check it out.

Hi don't know anything about that portable mixer but I do know that lots and lots of forum members love their "Magic Bullets". The only problem I've heard is that ice cubes just may do your poooooor bullet in!!

I use the little battery operated mini mixer. It has a little curved egg-beater style head at the bottom and whips up drinks in a flash. Just hold it under the tap for 1 second and turn on for a sec and its clean.
$4.99 on prohealth dot com (search hand mixer)
