Weakness in Legs?

Postby RUCHEERFUL » June 20th, 2006, 6:56 pm

Hi All,

I've read that the MF program can temporarily cause one to feel weakness in their legs.

I'm in the middle of week 3 and still feeling this.

:?: :?:

Is that normal?

How long does it usually last?

Thanks All!!
Peace,
Rue

best suggestion: talk to your doctor. or call the TSFL nurse, Lori. (Can't remember her number, but her email is getfitfast at comcast dot net -- take out the spaces, use the symbols, you get the idea)

When my legs are a little wobbly, I drink a FastSoup for some potassium or some boullion for some salt, and put the feet up for a bit.

Hope you get some relief soon.

I would call the nurse or see the doctor also. Usually that is a potassium issue or a blood pressure issue. If you are on medication you may need it adjusted.

Thank you Diana and Linda for your kind replies!!

Guess I'll need to see the Dr.

I do take pills for mild high blood pressure.

Weak Legs

Postby RUCHEERFUL » June 22nd, 2006, 8:07 pm

Just had to stop by and thank you both again!!

Today I had a cup of bouillon and it really helped :)

It also tasted so good that I thought I was off of my plan!!

Thanks too for the suggestion for the fast soups--I think I will be ordering some of those too for the extra potassium!

Glad I found this helpful site.
Peace,
Rue

Glad you're feeling better, Rue. But do still keep an eye on your BP, because you might need your meds adjusted at some point.

Robin, Linda,

Many thanks for your kind words.

You are both doing so well and that is wonderfully encouraging to see!! CONGRATS!!

I'll be flying out of state for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Wish me luck with staying on plan.

With all the tips I've received on the other thread, I think it will go well.

See you next week!
Peace,
Rue

The Robust Tomato Soup is working great with the extra potassium. The bouillon has also helped!!

This problem seems to have gone away now!! YAY!

Also, I'm down 14 pounds!!
