Unc--I'm a ZERO!

Postby Nebbie » January 7th, 2007, 5:31 pm

Down from the 40 Pound Club circa 2003.

I honestly can't recall how long I've been toying with weight loss via Medifast. Three...maybe four years? I've read posts from Mike (Guido) all the way through Brian. (140 lbs. WOW!) I'm a guy, if you haven't guessed.

I've gained and lost 40 pounds at least three times over the past four years. My goal is 80 pounds, although I'd like to lose 100.

I've never been an active poster. I read and relate and, and, and, read and well...time to get after it.

Here I go. My attitude is right. Perhaps posting in this forum is the missing link to my ongoing motivation? I shall see!

Best of luck to all as you work toward your goal.

WELCOME!!! There are quite a few people out there who don't post but read everyday...you will find yourself re-reading and that is good!

You have a great attitude and finding this forum puts you way ahead quite a few others on MF..you will find friends and supporters here...

welcome and ask away if you find yourself wondering :)

Nebbie,

You picked a great place to get support! This is the key to losing and keeping it off. You can lose that 80 lbs and you will probably do it quicker than you realize. If there is anything I can be of assistance to you on, please let me know. As for Mike and Tony too, I am sure the offer would be there as well. Good thing about being a man on this board is we are a small group, but between us all, we have great stories and experiences to share. Good luck!

Hi Nebbie!
Don't feel bad ... I lost 60 lbs in 1989 with MF. Unfortunately I went back to some bad habits and gained them (and more) back! Let's not look back on the past ... Today is a new day and our focus needs to be on making our goal for a wonderful and healthy future!

WELCOME!

Hi, Nebbie :). Welcome back and I know that it sure makes a difference for me to be here doing some journaling myself and supporting others. It just helps to stay in the right frame of mind.

Cheers, and let the success begin :) !

Welcome back Nebbie! I remember Mike (Guido). He was really inspiring. I wonder how he is doing? Good to have you back. I'm re-starting also. :byebye:
