Y'orta know all this! Don't be gettin' above your raisins now!

"The car needs fixed" is a complete statement, whereas "the patient has did" requires closure. For instance, the patient has did axsd their meat man if he is a mastuh-butcha, to which their meat man replied, "That Bubba is a gol'darn liar!"

I'm DYING here!!

SNL -- and can you believe that Steve Martin was never a regular member of the cast? I mean, come on!

Maybe he was the only one with an unpollable butcher.

And as for DID, what about "All of Me," "The Man with Two Brains," or a myriad of sketches...although, none quite the level of Robin Williams' random-stream-of-consciousness ad lib stuff...

I had an annoying boss who would say things like "This needs rewritten". It drove me insane. Her English made me cringe.

:D

Too funny!

The one that I hear quite often and sets my teeth on edge (because I want to correct whomever is saying it).... "Can you borrow that to me?" or "he/she borrowed me the..." the last time I heard it was while I was conversing with the master butcher and asking if he had a polling license....
