Another Lemonade Drink

Postby Mike » June 4th, 2006, 5:20 pm

In reference to DQ's Crystal Light Lemonade... I ran across another Sugar Free Lemonade made by Tropicana. I've found Lemonade and Orangeade. 2g carb, 0 sugar, 5-10 calories in a 12 oz can.
I'm sure the recipe would taste great with this also.
Pre WLS 460
Low after WLS 300
Start of MF 350
Previous MF low 280
Restart MF 330

I've been using a packet of true lemon in my tropical punch. It adds a nice "kick" to it!

I love the True Lemon and True Lime packets. I put them in my water all the time.

I have a hard time findin a lot of the stuff ya'll talk about out here in hickville, USA. I can't find the cheeses that Dogma has mentioned for her chicken and spinach stuff, and I can't find the true lemmon and true lime. UGH!

Kroger carries the cheeses here (although only the one near me, not the one near where I used to live). The mozzarella's even the house brand, so you could probably request it.

If it wasn't cheese, I'd just send ya some since you're not THAT far.

Haven't seen the True Lemon and True Lime in packets, though. I did find True Lime, or something similar, in a little spice-type jar.

ETA you can get free samples online if you go to their Web site, truelemon dot com.

Two nights ago, we had the tropical punch (for dh) and cranberry mango (moi) mixed with seltzer water and ice in the blender.

I really liked it, and Mike (aforementioned dh) said his tasted like real party punch to him.

I like the idea of adding the Crystal Light lemonade, DQ. One of my favorite non-MF punches used to be cranberry juice cocktail, lemonade and ginger ale.

Where are they at? I shop at Kroger as well, and they usually have all of the obscure things, but I cannot find ANY fat free cheese outside of cheddar.

We don't have Kroger. We have United and Wal Mart. We have a couple Albertson's, but they don't have much. I am going to try Market Street United---they carry a lot of gourmet type stuff. They might have some, or be willing to get it. Otherwise, it is going to be specialty shops---health food stores, and the kitchen gallery. They will get almost anything you ask them to. I make some home made khalua one year as Christmas gifts. I went to them for vanilla beans. They ordered them for me, and then charged me $12 PER BEAN for them. That should give you an idea of what things cost around here if it is out of the "norm".

I drink mine with Fresca which actually cuts the sweetness a little bit. I use about 1/3 of the water you would normally use and about 1/2 can Fresca. Yummy! :)

I was wondering how these taste?
I think I will order some now and try out the suggestions thanks :D

Oh btw, I love the True Lemon and Lime packets, we use them in water and on chicken, veggies etc.
If I could put time in a bottle, I'd drink it! ;)

Cheers, Sheryl

My favorite is the raspberry ice Crystal Lite added to both the cran-mango and the fruit punch.
