ticker factory

Postby izabelle » January 30th, 2005, 2:29 am

I have to thank whoever found the tickerfactory. It is a great way to show everyone our little progressions. Instead of putting in my start and current wieght I just put what I wanted to lose in target weight.
Its very easy to load and they have many different designs.
Thanks again!
The one who says it can't be done, isn't watching the ones who are doing it.

I have a question......do you go out to the ticker factory and re-do the ticker for every weight update? I tried to just change the weight amount in the code, and then it wouldn't display. So I thought maybe there is a trick, or you guys just go and create a new one each time. fill me in....

Since I think I started this trend, it seems like I should check in here . . . .

Maura, I went through the same thing you did. I tried to change the number in the image tag, and it wouldn't work. So yes, I've been going back to the site each week and re-doing it. Besides, then I can change the look of my ticker if I want to.

Hi,
I just tried this to see if it works--and it does.

I lost 25# with MF, but started fooling around during Thanksgiving--and here we are, a little over 2 months later, and I'm starting from scratch. But, I am starting!

I love the TickerFactory website--a great visual, I think.

I also started reading posts on the forum--and it is rejuvenating :-P

Thanks,
Sandy

Thanks 24k, You would think just changing the amount lost would take care of it, but there is some wierd code in there, so who knows what its calculating

Thanks again. And thanks for the great tool!

Hi KornPop - welcome back!

I loved your name ... made me think of my favorite cereal Corn Pops. Remember when all those cereals used to be called Sugar Pops, and Super Sugar Crisp??? HA -- made me laugh when they went and changed all the names when everyone started becoming nutrient conscious. (Of course, they didn't change the amount of sugar in them -- just the name! LOL)

Sorry - off on a tangent there - but glad to see you came back to the site. There are many new faces in here (me included). Just wanted to say hi and I'm sure the others will be along shortly to do the same.
