The incredible EDIBLE EGG!?!

Postby Gwebski » August 30th, 2005, 1:43 pm

 Am I dreaming and making it up that we can have two eggs for the LEAN part of the lean and grean?

Has anyone tried doing one egg with 1/2 the meat or have any good egg recipes that are Medifast Friendly and include the green part.

Maybe I am like a little kid but veggies in my eggs sounds kinda icky and well scramble eggs and salad sounds weird.

Would a one egg omlete with some fat free cheese be the end of the world?

Help!?! ;)

Thanxs!!!

You aren't dreaming. This is from the Lean & Green protocol update:
"2 eggs (limit egg servings to 3 times a week)"

Some egg ideas:

Hard boil and chop for use as a salad topper. Much like a cobb salad.

Make a 2 egg omelet. Use sauted spinach, zucchini, eggplant, or tomato and add in a small amount of mushrooms or onions for the filling. No cheese though.

Another option is to just scramble some eggs and add in any of the approved veggies.

Cook 'em over easy with some pam. Eat with a side of roasted asparagus and summer squash.

Oooo. I think I'm getting hungry for eggs now. :flip:

Just make sure to measure the veggies and only use the approved ones in the amounts specified.

What recipes? (good egg recipes that are Medifast Friendly). There's a Medifast Friendly recipe website or guide? Someone please lead me to it.
Thanks,
