I wanted to thank everyone for such a warm welcome and the support. I hear and read so many things you can and can not do on this diet, gets so confusing. The basic stuff stays the same 5 shakes and 1 lean and green meal. I have been told from where I buy the shakes and this is for all you dill pickle lovers. You can have as many as you want, we need the sodium is what they say. I eat 4 or so a day and still lose. Just a little FYI that I have heard.

Actually... dill pickles is not a free food. You are allowed 2 pickle spears as your 1 snack (according to the plan).
Personally, I tend to have 3, but that's just me.

I love dills and they often help me make it between meals, but I also limit myself to 2 a day.

My favorite is Vlasic no sugar added bread & butter spears. Thanks Nancy for turning me on to these!

I also carry them in my emergency stash when I am out and about. You never know when a hunger attack may bombard you!

Gained 11 lbs in Mexico 3/08, decided to lose that along with another 5 lbs!

Yup Mike is right on!!
Only two dill pickles each day ... they do have calories and carbs -- not alot but if we eat toooo many ... it will cause problems.

And no one needs THAT much sodium. Most of us would retain buckets of water if we ate more pickles than that a day.
