Yesterday I weighed a little bit more than the day before, probably because I dropped 1.6 pounds and my body had to give some of it back.

But today I am 209.9

In the 20x (just barely, but still!)

Oh, and also - what Lean and Green vegetables are highest in dietary fiber? I've been having some elimination issues, and want to add more fiber into my diet.

I know green beans are good. Anything else super high in fiber?

Oh, and I've also read that low carb diets don't "count" the carbs from fiber. Is that true?

Edit: After digging around the internet a bit, I see that you don't "count" some of the carbs from fiber into your carb count becuase they get excreted and not absorbed into the bloodstream. But I also just read:

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the general practice within the food industry is not to include insoluble fiber in the total carbohydrate count.

So then for our food products, they would have already subtracted off that kind of fiber. But what about in vegetables? If I see a nutrition label for some vegetable online, and it says that it has say 6g carbs and 4g dietary fiber, do i assume that that 4g dietary fiber is ONLY the soluble fiber?

Thanks

I think raw baby spinach and broccoli would be your best bet. Congrats on getting into the 200's! 190's are in your reach!

Thanks.

I'm going with green beans, broccoli, and spinach. Usually I just have cucumber, but that doesn't really have much in it.

Anyway, today I weighed in at 208.8! So I am firmly below 210 and into the 20x's

I went to see Harry Potter last night (I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd - probably much more than an average 20 yr old boy should be). I enjoyed it, but was not a fan of the lack of fight scenes

Anyway, just keeping on keeping on, heading towards goal...

I'm planning to see it Sunday, but my cousin went to the midnight show the other night. I've gone at midnight for the books, but I won't do it for the movies. She does it every time, though.

I love the books, but the movie was HORRID.....why did they leave out the whole battle at the end, grrrr. Someone told me that they are putting the funeral at the beginning of the next movie. I wish that they would have let Chris Columbus do them all. Don't worry about being obsessed at your age. I am 13 years older than you and seriously obsessed with them as well. I can talk for hours and hours about them. My biggest mistake was rereading the 6th and 7th ones right before I saw the movie. So, all the discrepancies were fresh in my mind. My husband (who usually enjoys the movies) didn't like it either, he said it was boring. The best part with Slughorn and Ron's love potion scene. The highlight of the movie for me was the preview for "The Lighting Thief".

Hello gang - so its been a little while since we last spoke. Hope things are going well.

So, good news - I'm down to 204.1

4.2 until ONEDERLAND!

When I hit Onederland... its just going to be incredible. Assuming I do, I'll have lost 90 pounds. I'll be about a third of my original weight. I think that's awesome.

The other good news is that I'm doing well to hit my goal. Last time I updated I needed to lose .36#/day, and now only need to lose .33#/day to reach my goal of 195# by August 24th. So that means I'm on my schedule and my plan, and should be reaching my goals.

If anyone is out there reading, wondering whether or not to start or restart, let me just tell you - having this kind of success changes the way you live life. You have more fun, more confidence. You feel healthier and less insecure. Waking up in the morning, you look forward to the day and interacting with other people, rather than just wanting to hide. You WANT people from your past to meet you and see you again.

One thing that I am worried about is how my body will look when I finish. I'm concerned because with only 60 pounds to lose (that sounds silly to say, doesn't it? Only 60 pounds?) I wonder if all the weight in my bad areas will come out - I want a flat stomach and don't want man boobs. Granted 60# is a lot, I'm just worried that at the end it may not be the body I want. I guess when I get there I'll have to start weight training a lot more.

In a few weeks I'm meeting up with this girl I had a huge crush on a few years back. I am looking forward to seeing her in my new body. Hopefully by the time I meet up with her, I'll be under 200 pounds. I'm pretty sure that that will happen - its about 2.5 weeks, so I'll probably be well into the 190s by then.

You're doing great! And don't worry too much about the skin. You're young, so it might not be a huge problem. We had another guy close to your age who lost quite a bit. He hit goal and maintained awhile and let things settle. Eventually, he DID end up having surgery to remove the excess skin (if you search around, you should be able to find his posts about it). Lauren had some skin-removal surgery, too, and posted about it.

Yesterday I weighed in at 203.3 (-.8 from the day before) and by some fluke/miracle, today I weigh in at 201.5 (-1.8 from the day before).

201.5

So hopefully tomorrow I won't gain any of this two day run back, maybe just lose .1 or .2 and then get back.

But anyway, wow - pretty far in and I can drop 2.6 pounds in 2 days? Crazy (Though I think the momentum products might be a catalyst - the last two days I've had three of them in the morning).

So as expected, today I had a slight weight rebound (back up to 201.7) but not too bad.

Also, Dogma- its not the skin that I'm worrying about so much right now, as I don't think I have any problems with that quite yet. Its more like - I sitll see a LOT of fat on my body, and I'm worried that 50 pounds won't be enough to get rid of all of it.
