I am soooo happy!!!

Postby Nite Izes » May 19th, 2004, 7:35 am

Well as some know, I was placed on a med that left me in a stalemate with my weight. I finished my med treatment and whoosh, I was able to continue where I left off. I thought I was going to gain or stay stuck at 269 for who knows how long. I did stay on the Medifast program while on the meds. Well, I weighed myself and am as of today 266 lbs.

One of the funniest thing happened to me on Monday. I haven't really noticed any weight loss and went to my MD appt. I did noticed that my pants felt very baggy (and just 2 months ago, they felt tight on me). As I was walking up the stairs, my pants were falling down. I had to keep holding on to them with every step upwards. I guess that means time to buy new pants. It felt good, but alittle embarrassing.

I purchased with my last order a sample pack. I have to tell you, I LOVE the apple cinnamon oatmeal. It taste so good that I am going to buy a case. I know that summer is around the corner, but it taste so good for breakfast and it can be used as a replacement meal anytime.

I am just glad I am back on track and everything worked out well for me. I was nervous for awhile, but everything has fallen back into place. I am down 19 lbs in total so far. I am getting close to my 1st goal. YIPPPPEE!!!!!

Not just on losing 3 more pounds, but on staying with MF even when the scale wasn't moving.

NiteIzes ~

You are doing a fantastic job!
I echo Echo's comment!

It is not always easy to keep a stiff upper lip (or should I say, a sealed upper and lower lip?) while taking medications and dealing with health issues...how well I understand!

I am on Prednisone and it makes one hungry enough to eat a refer and makes ya puff up and look like an igloo with eye shadow but if we choose the right way every day and only eat when it is time to eat, we can slide right by the normal side effects and end up with a loss. It may be a smaller loss than it would be without the medications but it IS a loss and we LOVE it! Sometimes it may mean that we maintain but maintaing is always better than a gain, eh?
