Duuuude, rockstar, so fantastic to have you around, ever so briefly! You and your clavicles have been sorely missed.

And, you know, I must make it known LOUD AND CLEAR that I think I (that's me, moi, The Queen, whatever you choose to call me) who originally started the discussion of the fascination and love affair with the clavicle. You seem to get all the credit, but I'd put money (not a lot, we are entering into a recession after all!) on the fact that if someone did a search in this forum, I'd be the freak who mentioned that the appearance of my clavicles was what brought the most joy and awareness of my success!

I just wanted it out there, you know, FOR THE RECORD.

haha

But, if you want all the damn credit, fine, be that way. Consider it a graduation gift. It's all your getting. You know, because we are entering into a recession after all.

Cheers,

Lauren

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude.

"Getting" and "taking" credit are two different things...
I did, indeed, do a search of the forum and found that
you started a thread on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 regarding
your clavibation tendencies. To be fair, I did not join the forum
until more than a month later, on July 25, 2006 (Jo's BD!), so there
is no way I could've know that! People think of me, 'cause I think I've
just been more vociferous in my praise of the clav - ?? Well, I'm typically
just more "vociferous" about pretty much everything, eh? 8)

Anyway, FOR THE RECORD Y'ALL: Lauren is the reigning Clavicle Queen!!!

Well, all I can say is I'll be sleeping a WHOLE lot better tonight now that the clavicle issue is resolved.

How was the commencement ceremony? I finished my BS in 06 and remember the ceremony like it was yesterday. I skipped out on the ceremony for my MBA - I had no desire to sweat it out again in one of those sticky gowns! :D

Congratulations again!

It's not until the 30th... but I'll take the congrats again!
Thanks!

It's typically SO hot here by that time of the year, to the
point that there have been real heat-related issues for both
grads and guests, that they've scheduled it for 8:00 a.m!

I'm gonna' have to figure out something to do about water
intake ~ well, not so much about the intake, but rather the
output ;). Astro-diapers, perhaps??

So true... I remember my graduation in the stadium at Sac State back in '92. We were all wearing black (obviously) and it was 102 degrees in the shade by 1 PM when the ceremony took place. Oy vey it was hot.... :aarggh:

Yeah~
the weather's been really wonderful lately,
but a lot can happen in 16 days ~ it's supposed
to be over 100 degrees by the weekend!

I mean, I wanna' be a HAWT grad,
not a sweaty, sticky, HOT grad!!

:D

Oh goodness. 100 degrees in May?
I knew there was a reason I continue to brave the snowy NY winters. That kind of heat is just not fun.

Yeah, that whole Fresno-Modesto area makes DFW look good! We're still mostly in the 70s and 80s. I think we've just had one 90-degree day so far.

Wow! Has it really been that long since I last posted?

OMG, the weather...
It didn't even wait for the weekend ~ 2 days after my last post it was 102 degrees and by Saturday it was 107!! Hottest May date ever. It was also quite muggy and just absolutely miserable. I don't usually mind the triple digits, but this was just a little abrupt... but, that was last Friday. Our high today was 78. What the?? It's s'posed to be rainy and "unseasonably cool" this weekend - 71 on Sunday. Weird!! I still prefer it to the snow, though (sorry, Cyd!). Is DFW humid, Rob? I lived in TX once upon a time, but it was clear up in Amarillo. It's pretty dry there. At least it was compared to the four years I had just spent in Arkansas!

So...

Guess what today was?
My last official day of class as an undergraduate. :shades:
WooHoo!
Graduation is one week from today.
All of a sudden, it's right around the corner!

Guess what else?
My dress fits!
:bananadance:

Maybe I'll get some good pics to share.
I'm also gonna' update my avatar - new haircut.
Well, it's not really new anymore, but y'all haven't
seen it yet, so it's new to you!

I guess that's it. Where IS everybody??????
Hasta, y'all!!
