Looks good Teresa,

Anything "offplan" should be used sparingly though...
Enjoy...:)

Margarine Substitute

Postby Nancy » February 21st, 2006, 10:52 am

It looks ok, Folks. Just be sure to limit it to the ONE Tablespoon.

If you have been steadily losing weight at a consistent rate and then all of a sudden the weight loss slows down and some hunger returns, evaluate your meal plan and determine if there have been too many additions of products and foods not listed in the program guide, the Quick Start Booklet on page 5 - 8.

Reminder: When a person is following the 5 & 1 Program, we are in a mild dietary state of ketosis - the fat-burning state. It is what allows us to have lots of energy, spare the muscle tissues, no hunger and cravings - the things that enable us to stay on the program. When we begin to add a little of 'this' and a little bit of 'that, ' eating some of those extra sauces, salad dressings, flavored seltzers, dibbles of Cool Whip, extra milk (soy or otherwise) in our coffee, etc. it ups the carbohydrate level and we can easily up it enough to get out of the fat-burning state and then we struggle with staying on our program.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
