Slow Website

Postby Pashta » March 22nd, 2007, 4:36 pm

This site is very very slow now. It didn't used to be so last year... Perhaps some of the very old messages should be archived somewhere to speed it up? Is that possible Unca?

It's not my connection for sure. I have super fast cable. :) The same provider and same everything as last year...

I am not having any speed issues. Could be an occasional server issue, but I have had no issues with speed.

I didn't use the site last year, but I'm finding the pages load quickly and without any hang time...don't know if that information helps. :)

Should be no prob with the site.

Have you gotten a new puter lately?
Possible that you're not cacheing the graphics, and they have to reload each time? There's a setting in your browser for the cache.

Nope, same computer.. I am using internet explorer 7.0 though. Maybe that's it. I thought everything was supposed to be faster with it? Hehe... darn Microsoft.

Every problem in the world can be linked to Microsoft, McDonalds and Coca Cola. I am convinced.
