:cleader: Whee! You had an awesome week, Susan and Maggie!

Susan, don'tcha DARE think that your TWO pounds are not as worthy  as Maggie's FOUR pounds!!!

We cannot compare ourselves to others.

We are each unique - Yup, you are hand-fashioned, my little Darlin'. Our ages, our body types, our medical histories, our metabolisms, are all different. You are losing weight consistently, safely and just think ~ YOU are no longer taking diabetic medications now.

You are a :star: in my book!

Maggie, I love your Sunday morning roll call! You are a dynamite lady - so encouraging and helpful :pet: and we   ya!!

You are both winners  WEIGH TO GO!!!

Hi gang---

Well, I was down 3 pounds on Wednesday morning....went on a business trip and did really well with the program (well, except for a drink--now Mike's gonna kill me! LOL).

Then....Aunt Flo shows up unannounced...again!! And brought those danged 3 pounds with her!!...So this morning (Monday) I'm still at 305.

Go away, Aunt Flo!!! :x

We won't tell Mikey about that little drinky. :buddies: Maybe he'll think it was just water, eh?

Well, we are glad to know that you safely returned from your trip to Chicago and now we'll just send your :x Aunt Flo on a little trip of her own!

;) I predict she'll be outta here in about 4-7 days! ;)

You wuz missed. :pet:

I am a little late for roll call. Sorry! I seem to be stuck at 190lbs. I dont know what is going on. I lost the firs 45 real fast and now Im just hanging tight. HMMM I have not cheated. Im drinking allllll my water plus the water of those who do not get all theirs in. Maybe my body is stuck. The 24th of Jan I am walking a 5k walk. We have an event here in Tampa called Gasparilla. Its were pirates invade the city. Parades, parties you name it. So a bunch of us from work are going to walk it, part of our new things to do for 2004. Maybe that will get my body back to normal or not. Maybe you will hear on the news about the Tampa woman that fell out on the sidewalk after 10mins of walking ;)

I will try to do better for roll call this week

Donna Girl ~

I am sure that the needle on your scale will move this week. Fret not. :?

Often when a person has lost about 45 pounds the old plateau arrives…sometimes our bod just wants to rest and relocate itself – sort of a bod adjustment!

We can also do an attitude adjustment during the “resting stage.” Are you convinced that the weight loss plan works? You betcha!

Has it gotten easier as time goes by? Yup.

Do you feel better physically? Feel better about yourself? Have you measured lately? Check out your measurements – often when we reach a plateau we are still losing inches. ;)

I remember thinking that when I reached a plateau that it was a little testing time. I found that I was able to resist temptations because I remembered the reason WHY I wanted to lose weight. That made it easier to keep on eating the right amounts of food at the right times of day.

I reminded myself that “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.”

I may have gotten an invitation to attend a “pity party” but I didn’t have to go there!

We choose the party we wish to attend!

I passed the test, didn’t go off the plan, focused on the positive and ejected the negatory thoughts and my weight loss picked up. Guess what?

You’re gonna pass the resting and testing time, too! :-P
