Hi Patty,
On the main page of the forum, there's a button to "View posts from previous x days".

By default it's 1 day. You can use this and scan through the headings for the latest posts.

Don't worry about where to make posts. We'll move it around if you get it in the wrong place.

What was your question?

The only question was about having a daily thread to chat on but I think the journals work well!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone -

Still doing good...will look to start a daily thread somewhere and hopefully someone will follow me :) I love posting in the journal but think it would be nice if we all had a to place to say Hi each day if you want!

Hi Patty, I have a shortcut on my desktop that allows me to see the posts that have been written since I last visited the site. I use that and then read through all that has been written. I check multiple times a day so that works easiest and best for me. I know it isn't as easy for those who work and can only check once a day.

I don't think I'd post on a daily thread along with my journal and the comments I leave for others. I'd probably just be repeating myself so instead of being redundant (more so than my usual redundancy, that is  ) I'd probably just continue to keep my journal updated as I use it as my 'diary' of my MF journey. If you do start daily threads, I'll be reading them! :D

Thanks for the note Tawanda - I think you are probably right. It seems there are a lot of people here who have been here for a while and all know each other so everyone has their ways of doing things! I have just been trying to find a positive, no-nonsense group (meaning no cheating and no enabling!) and I believe it is here so I will just read as much as I can from everyone's journals!

Take care and have a great day!

Thank you all so much for the kind words - you are great! It has been a little difficult but that is OK - if it was easy... Going through difficult times overall which I will probably share at a later date, so this program and this forum has been a Godsend!

Lizabette - I will get a pic in my avi - I promise!... a little bit of a computer/pic novie but I will learn!

Take care everyone!

Patty, Unca is the one who puts the avatar photos up for us. Find a photo of yourself that you like and send it off to him, it will magically appear soon after he receives it. :)

Congratulations on your success so far!

I was told in the beginning if I didn't get my avatar up per Lizabette's instructions, I would be hit with her "skinny stick." Just so you are aware!

Oh Patty - I forgot to add...When I first started Medifast...I had read somewhere that somebody separated their supplements into ziploc baggies right when they received their shipments...that way each day all they had to do was grab a baggie out of the box and run. I did this for the first 4 months on program. And to make it even easier - I would grab enough baggies for the week and just put them in my desk. Now I grab a bigger ziploc bag and put all my supplements for work that week and take it with me. You may want to try it - it takes the guess work out of trying to figure out your supplements.
