SF pancake syrup--where?

Postby jskm » November 11th, 2007, 11:12 pm

Has anyone been able to find the SF pancake syrup locally? If so where? I forgot to order that one when I ordered my bunch, and I hate to pay shipping for one bottle.

I'm sure somewhere in Vegas would have it, but part of the price of having such a great marketplace is also having such a huge marketplace--you don't know where to start looking, and it's not feasible to just go out looking for something blindly, you could be looking for days. I found a place here that sells it online, but they're a warehouse that ships it, they won't let you come pick it up, they still make you ship and pay shipping. How crazy.

Anyway. Any suggestions? My local grocery store didn't have it. Thanks.

Pretty much anywhere... ;)

I personally like Smuckers, but you can find Egg, Mrs. Butterworth, Log Cabin, Maple Farms, etc. Local supermarkets have at least 1 brand... just check in the pancake syrup section.

I find mine in the pancake mix area. And I shop at Target or regular grocery stores. If you still can't find it there, Trader Joe's might have some.

Ok, maybe we're asking about different things. I was asking about the pankcake flavored DaVinci. I saw the sugar free pancake syrup at the grocery store, but that stuff still had 11-12 grams of carbs per serving. The DaVinci stuff has zero, that's what I want.

I don't know about the DaVinci, but I found a really good one in the Diabetic Section of my grocery store that isn't loaded with carbs. You might look there.

Ahh, you mean the real watery syrup that people add to coffee and oatmeals. I get my SF syrups at Smart and Final (mainly Torai there), and TJMaxx and Ross have a variety of DaVinci and other brands.

If you want to order them online, there is a place in Sacramento that does all kinds of syrups and pumps and such... syrup2u dot com

Hope this helps.

That's the stuff. It's for a maple bun recipe. Thanks!
