Orange Creme Shakes

Postby thefinest » April 28th, 2006, 8:16 am

I just had an orange creme shake in the blender...all I can say is WOW!! I love those kind! It tasted like a dreamcicle to me. I'm a CHOCOLATE girl all the way but I think I'll be ordering a lot more of the orange creme shakes!

I read a lot of ppl don't like the strawberry creme shake but I had one yesterday and found that I liked it pretty well too.

The only thing that I have found that I don't like that well but will still eat is the Chicken Noodle soup. I only had it one time and it was all mushy and pasty. I think I'll try it again today and follow ppls advice by adding in bouillion and some spices..I think I need to add more water to it as well.

Thus far, I am very pleased with the taste of the products. I love the oatmeal raisin bars too!

Ok, I just retried the chicken noodle soup. This time I added more water and added 1 low sodium bouillion cube plus a sprinkle of Mrs. Dash. It was really good! I'm afraid I haven't found any products to complain about yet! hehe :D

Glad you found a way to like the chicken noodle soup. Sometimes we just have to tweak things a little to our liking. My biggest problem is the puddings. I know some people just love them but for some reason I am not crazy about them.

You are right- the Orange Creme is yummy. I put raspberry crysal lite in it and OMG- YUMMERS!!!! Its one of my faves. Im drinking one of my least faves right now- Vanilla. No matter what I add too it it still has a funny taste- owell, once they are gone, I wont order anymore.

I LOVE the chicken noodle- another one of my faves.

Love the orange and the strawberry. With the vanilla, we add it to coffee and it makes a not so bad latte. Found that the swiss mocha shake, for me, is much lacking. And the minestrone is the only soup I just can't deal with. Pretty much, everything else so far is good. Tweaking things usually helps. Want to try the Cream of Chicken, I am hoping its good.

Speaking of add/changing items......

I put some form of hot sauce or Emril's BAM in all of the soups I eat.

Sometimes I also add fresh chopped onions, tad of garlic and fresh chopped cilantro.

YUM!

Carly,

If you drink diet colas, try your vanilla in some of them. It makes a "float" - not too bad. I use the new Diet Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream and ice and blend it.

Just don't shake them with the diet soda in there. Big mess...not pretty! I know this from experience!

I didn't like the puddings at first, but now I have the chocolate just about every day.

I still can't get used to the minestrone, though. And the cream of chicken is one of the blandest things I've ever had. I keep meaning to try it with some Better Than Bouillon lobster base or something (how could ANYthing be bad with lobster base??).

And I'm glad other people like the shakes. I'd never have been able to last on this thing if the old three-a-day rule was still in effect.

The minestrone isn't that great if you follow the directions. I add more water to it (about 3/4 cup or so), and a couple sprinkles of original mrs. dash. It makes it spicy and wow I love it then! :eat: Helps me drink my water! LOL
