when i was larger (sad to think i could have been since i'm still so big) i used to combat discomfort with humor. ok, i still do.
i remember one time this guy kept looking at me funny.
so i asked, "does my ass make these jeans look big?"

I LOVED that one!
I had so many self-depricating jokes that made fun of my weight. I always tried to pre-empt any odd looks I was getting with a joke to lighten the mood!
