Hey Cyndi, it sounds like you are pretty much rockin' the program !! Way to go :). There will be some hungry days here and there, but once you have been on program for a couple of weeks, things are really starting to change in terms of your actual appetite and how much food you would feel you could consume. If you have schedule changes in what times you actually have your supplements, that alone can cause some hungries, even when you are already rockin' the program and happily in ketosis. Yesterday was a day of hungries for me because of that very thing (new time zone), but it's worth it ! There are some days where my appetite has been so small that I don't even feel like having my supplements, especially not a huge meal like a L/G ( ), but of course I do anyway. During those times, I feel like I am overeating just being on program.

PMS can definitely be a tricky time for me ! Cravings are even stronger and, when not on program, it's usually a great excuse for eating lots of pretty gnarly things, because, hey, my body is craving it and TOM sucks so I deserve to satisfy the cravings especially now ! But, it's just another version of the same BS monster, trying a slightly different tactic. Still BS though ! Good for you for seeing through it :).

Hope you have enjoyed trying some new stuff :). Keep rockin' !!!

Well, yesterday, OF COURSE, the message boards would NOT work. Couldn't get the page to come up for ANYTHING. Yesterday was a bad, bad day. I had worked all night the night before and didn't get but 2 hours sleep after getting home, before my husband had to leave for work and I was up with a sick toddler and a wild 6 year old! I was exhausted and starving and spent the entire day just eating whatever. Terrible. I noticed that I could barely eat, though, I would get SO FULL, but I totally blew it yesterday. Then last night, I paid for it. My stomach pain got so bad around midnight that I thought I was headed to the ER for a while! Awful pains....couldn't sleep after being awake all that time, felt terrible. Decided that yesterday would be the ONLY day like that I'll allow. Not worth it at all. Sooooo, today I didn't bother with weigh in. My stomach still hurts, but not nearly as badly. Back on plan, no problems today. Almost like, since I got it out of my system, I'm ok now. Except I'm not, because I'm disappointed in myself and still not feeling well. Stupid move. However, not going to throw in the towel....MF works too well and for the most part, is easy. Just keep swimming, right?

Got back on plan for a couple of days and then had some really emotional days at work and TOM hungries are killing me, so yesterday evening and today I haven't been on plan. I am determined to get back on track tomorrow, because I can't give up. I have to chalk it up to feeling so yuck with the monthlies and just get back on the wagon. I'm not giving up on something that I KNOW works. I HAVE TO do this this time.

Let's get back on track together tomorrow, Cyndi :). Despite the munchies, despite the emotions ... just because we know it's the right thing to do and that we can do it ! Okay ? :)

Well, back on program since Sunday....worked a night shift and stuck to it perfectly!! Today is day 3 after my couple days of HORRIBLE eating, but all my TOM water weight has disappeared and now I'm down an extra pound! Exercised to Zumba yesterday....first exercise on plan and felt GREAT. I'm ready to start seeing it fall off of me!! Hoping for 20 by next week. Don't know why I fell off the wagon when I feel SO GOOD on it.

Hooray for the extra pound and making it through a night shift - that must take extra dedication since things are so wonky. :cleader:

How do you like Zumba? I have it, but I've never gotten past the first DVD where they teach you the steps. Is it fun?

Great job, Cyndi !! I am not nearly brave enough to weigh myself at this time, not even because I just want to hide from the weight, but I have a tendency to let it really affect me at times like this, almost no matter what it reads, and that affect is almost always me deciding I don't need to stick to getting back on program ! But, today is my day 3 as well, I made it through the movie snacks last night without so much as a nibble ! HUGE congrats to you for getting through your tough schedule and sticking to the deal !! It's definitely helping me so much to think of you doing what you are doing. I have been tempted to go off and then I think of you and it actually really makes a big difference !

Keep chuggin' !! Pretty soon here we will both be in ketosis land and feeling good and strong and watching the pounds disappear ! Cheers !

Well, today is getting soooo close to the first month done! In 3 days, I'll have done this for a month (save for 2 very bad days!!). I'm hoping that I'll see 20 pounds on day 30....I'm at 18.2 right now and have religiously stuck to the program all week, until the white choc macadamia cookie I just had. It was as if I would have injured someone for it. I thought "Uh-oh, here we go, a couple of days of eating terrible again"....but I noticed that when I finished the cookie and contemplated another, that my stomach was actually telling me I was full and the craving went away. So I mixed up a banana shake and went on with the day. Though I'm not happy about the cookie, I'm THRILLED that I was able to just jump right back on track and not get into the "Well, I blew it today, might as well REALLY blow it!". I'm not going to be hard on myself either. Instead, I'm going to be proud, because by Tuesday, I WILL be one of those who can say, "Yes, I lost 20 pounds in the first month on MF." I WILL.

Hi Cyndi ! Yes, occasionally those things seem irresistible, don't they ? I am also happy for you that you went on with your day ! Well done ! I have confidence that you will see your 20 pounds down in your 30 days, and if not exactly that, I'm sure it will be very, very soon :).

Cheers !
