Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself here since I have been posting a little bit on a few other threads!

I am a working mom of three children, ages 10, 8 and 3. I am not extremely heavy, but have let a good 30+ pounds creep on the last 10 years or so, mainly the last 5 years. I have managed to lose about 20 of it, but it managed to come back on. I joined MF about 4 weeks ago (first two weeks pre-diet) when I just couldn't do it by myself anymore. Weight watchers is good, but I had gotten to complacent in going to the meetings, and the weight just kept adding on. Of course, lots of stress at work the last 8 months hasn't helped things either.

Anyway, I was happy to find this board and read all of your success stories, it is very inspiring. I realize that if you all can stick with this program an lose so much weight, that I can too.

I look forward to "meeting" everyone and hopefully someday inspire someone else to stick with the program and lose the weight too!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

electra000 - what part of texas are you in (if its not to personal). I live in the dallas area.

loriannk - I grew up in Milwaukee - Cudahy area.... but I've been in Tx for about 19 year now, way to long! My family is still up there.

JennP - how do you manage with the 3 kids and the diet? somedays are easier than others. my 3 year old likes to share his food with me and doesn't understand why mommy doesn't want to share his french fries anymore!!

I am mom of 4! Welcome to enjoying the rest of your life and to loving yourself!!! This is a great place for love, understanding, patience and just a warm fuzzy when you need one!
I do find it hard somedays not to snack, taste, lick, smell.....etc. that food that my kiddos eat but at the same time, they are now eating better because we are! It is a slow process but they enjoy certain things we eat and I am glad to share!
We are glad to have you "Shakin" with us!!!!!
