Hi,
So far so good on day one. Im justing getting ready to fix my first Lean and Green and I was wondering if the number of ounces listed for protien is a cooked or raw weight? I was also wondering if Buffalo is allowed on the plan?
A quick summary of todays food. Peach oatmeal, fruit and nut bar, creamy broccoli soup with garden veggie crackers, one stalk celery, Chai Latte(Oh my goodness,my favorite so far ). Left for the day a Lean and Green and an Orange cream shake. Does that sound like Im getting it right? AThanks for the help.

Hi there! Looks like you're doing fine today. The weight of the meat is after cooking. If I'm not mistaken, Buffalo is quite lean, so you could have 5 oz. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, I think you are getting it right.....good for you! Oh, by the way, don't forget to drink lots and lots of water.

The weight for your protein is cooked weight. Looks like you understand the plan from what you have listed for today. You are going to do great!! Keep asking questions any time.

I would look up buffalo to compare the nutritional breakdown against chicken breast and lean beef. I believe it's leaner than beef, so you may be able to get away with 7 ounces of cooked meat.

I'd look for you, but I can't right now. Good luck, Sharon!

I just looked up the nutritional info for buffalo and it actually looks like it is leaner that chicken breast so I would say to have 7oz. I thought about trying this but have not worked up the nerve yet.

Your plan looks perfect!
