Hi everyone,

I know I am not doing it right. I don't mean to. I have read and read every word on this site and anything else I could find on VLCD. I also have several years in the bio-med program so I truly do know about the processes of metabolism (more than I'd like).

For some stupid stupid reason I am having a very hard time eating now. (HOW STRANGE IS THAT?) I don't get it. I have to start eating more because my energy is getting zapped. I won't even write what I had yesterday because I know I was bad by not getting close to enough calories.

I am going on a roadtrip with my mom and sister today today (my DH and grams are going to keep the babies home for me!) and she will be on my case to get my shakes every 3-4 hours and to eat a good meal everyday. So hopefully that is the routine I need to kick my butt into gear.

I did it this way instead of stopping eating (which is how I had lost weight in the past not healthy way), because I want to be healthy through this!!!!! I really truly do! So I will work at it on this trip and when I come back next tuesday, hopefully I will be getting all of my shakes and water in a day!

Thanks everyone again. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!!!!

From my experience, skipping meals leads to eating off plan. One day the hunger just comes out of nowhere and has to be sated. I thought if I skipped supplements I would lose weight faster but actually I was only sabotaging myself, If you are going to be away from a computer, you can track your meal times in a little pad of paper or a booklet. That's what I still do as a back up even with all the websites to do it for me. Oh, and I noticed you said 3-4 hours between supplements. Actually, it is recommended that you have a supplement every 2.5 to three hours. I know that you may noy feel hungry. Especially for my second supplemnt of the day I am never hungry for. But I drink it because I want to be compliant and lose weight the way others before me have. Good luck on your trip and glad you have someone there to watch over you!
