Laurie-
I went in there for a brief look...I had never heard of it before.

Have you won/purchased (or whatever you do) anything there? Looks interesting...but I am usually hesitant about things until I see it work with someone else.

How has it been for you?

My brother won Indy tickets, and my mom won a spa vacation. I won gas once a long time ago. It is so fun. Like the BMW auction right now. I have placed only 3 bids. But that last day of bidding, MAN!! It gets crazy. I WANT that car. I have a range of winning bids figured out right now. I just keep waiting. 2 days before auction end, I will bid again, between what I know is the range for the winning bid. It will either be too high, or not unique. Then I will narrow my range and off we go. Right now, I have a unique bid placed, but there are lower bids than mine. But, if the other low unique bids become not unique anymore, I still will have the low unique bid. I LOVE it. But like I said, it is ADDICTIVE!!!

Is there a way to watch it...to learn or do you just have to jump in and do it?

And...do you see any of the other bids or do you just get the "Too high or unique bid" feedback from your own bids and figure it out from that?

I hope you win that BMW....that would be awesome!

You just read the rules, and jump in and do it. No, you can't see other bids. You just have to guess. For example---if you want to bid $5.23 on the BMW then you would text BMW 523 to them. First, though, you have to go to the sight and sign up. It is free to sign up. There is a way to play from your home phone if you don't have a cell, or if your cell carrier is not a sponsor, but I am not sure how that is done. Every once in a while, you will get a text from them letting you know what the "range" is. Then, you can start narrowing it down from there. And, if you have a unique bid, they will tell you it is unique and if there are any lower unique bids. Then, if your bid is placed by someone else, making it no longer unique, they will notify you.

CAUTION: If you do not have unlimited texting on your cell, it can get costly!! Remember, this is sponsored by cell phone carriers. If you get caught up in a bidding war and don't have unlimited texting, you could easily run up your cell bill!!
