Hula Hoopin'

Postby Serendipity » August 18th, 2006, 6:12 am

At Curves a few weeks ago, they had a hula hoop for us to try. It wasn't your normal hula hoop, it was heavier and had knobs all along the inside. I watched as several girls tried it, but couldn't bring myself to try. I haven't used those muscles for years and years and I was afraid I would make a fool of myself. Finally, after a week of watching others use it and have fun with it, I decided to swallow my pride and give it a try.

OMG! I loved it! I could do it and it felt great! Well, being the compulsive person that I am, I went home, found it on the internet and ordered it. (BTW, there's a whole hula hoop world out there that I was ignorant of)

Well, my hubby thinks I'm nuts, but I love it and I really feel like I'm getting a workout when I use it.

If you want to see what I'm talking about go to www DOT magichoopusa DOT com/

Which one did you order? The website is kind of confusing....

magichoop...doublehoop....funkyhoop....computer....

Is the computer a separate purchase? What's a Figurina? :?:

I took a bit of googling, but I found out what a Figurina is..

It's a pair of workout shorts. It has a little mini computer looking thing on it, the description was pretty vague..

Smart-n-Easy way to firm and tone your bottom and thigh muscles.

As seen on TV

* Burn away excess fat and get rid of cellulite
* Attain firmer, more toned bottom and thighs
* Watch a marked improvement in your shape
* Clothes fit better and accentuate your figure!

Just looked liked those skin tight shorts that pro bicyclists wear. Don't know what the gizmo hooked on the waist is for. Probably needs batteries...Woo hooo..

Gonna have to get me one of those! hehe. :roflmao:

I bought the Magic Hoop. It's just round. I think the web site is hard to understand because it's made in China and something gets lost in the translation, but I had no problems with my order and it was here within a week.

The computer thingy comes with the Magic Hoop, but to be honest, I haven't used it. It's kind of like one of those digital watches that has a bunch of modes that you can't figure out and when you do, you forget by the next time and have to get the instructions out again, etc.,etc.,etc.

Did any of you buy it and use it? Can you share if you did? It looks like so much fun, but if I buy one more peice of gear and don't use it, DH will freak out.
