When I first started a lost almost a pound a day in my first week. Some have lost up to 2 pounds a day their first week. It depends how much you have to lose, etc.
But you will definitely see results your first week if you follow everything correctly and get all your water in.

You probably won't notice much the first couple of days, and the first 3 days or so are hard because your body is switching its metabolic burning systems and reducing the calories. You may feel hungry, headachy, or grumpy the first 3 days (so let your loved ones know ;) )

By the 4th day you should be in the fat burning state and as long as you stick to the program, drink your water, have your medimeals every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, the pounds should come off.

Welcome and good luck to ya.

Hiya AZ

The one thing I say to myself, is take one shake at a time. If you can get through the first 3 days you can do the program right to the end.

It is very important to drink you water.

If you have any questions just ask away.

So far you have gotten some great input from everyone. One great thing about MF is that you will see results SOOOO fast. I lost 10 pounds the first week and again the second week then settled into losing about 3-5 pounds a week after that. I needed new clothes before the first month was over. While my results may not be typical they are obviously possible. The MOST important thing you need to remember is that you MUST give the program a fair shake (yes, pun intended). The first few days can suck, but they are so worth it. Once you get into fat burning stage things get easier I promise!!! THEN you will start seeing such amazing results that you will find it difficult to even think about not being compliant.

You have started an amazing journey and we are all here to support you. Before you know it you will be inspiring others to follow in your footsteps.

Congratulations on making such a life changing decision.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement. I need it, I dont really have it at home. But so far so good, half way through the day, 1 shake and 1 bar later, I'm not hungry! I mentally am ready. I wanted to do this months ago but my Dr. thought I might of had a heart condition so had me wait and now with the all clear I'm doing it!!!!

I really would love to lose like you Rodeo, I will be a walking posterboard for MF if I lose 20lbs in a month let alone 2 weeks. You are an insperation!

Thanks! I am here to help. I haven't felt worthy to be called an inspiration lately, so your words are very kind and well taken. If you look at my journal you will see that it hasn't been all peachy keen for me, I had ankle surgery and went off the program at my doctor's request. Getting back on has been an uphill battle to say the least, but I am ready to kick the last 80 pounds out of here to reach my goal.
