Here I am again!!!

Postby igm46 » March 2nd, 2007, 1:07 am

Well, today is my first day of restart. I originally started Medifast February 1, 2006. Within 6 weeks I had lost 30 pounds. I eventually lost 40 pounds altogether. Then, I started a new very stressful job, and somehow found myself back to my old eating ways. Sooo, feeling a little embarrased  I have to admit, I have gained 25 pounds back. I woke up this morning and decided I had beaten myself up about it long enough. So, I begin again!! It makes me happy and sad at the same time to see how well everyone else has done, Happy because it is so inspiring, and sad because I feel like I should be there too. I can only hope that this time I will have the courage to follow through. I owe it to myself!! It's good to be back.

Welcome back. There are several of us re-starters here. At first glance, that may seem like a negative thing, but really it is a testament as to how wonderful MF is. We know it works.....we just have to work it. ;)

All the re-starters have regrets......regrets because we see where we could have been instead of where we are. The good news is.....we are back.....and we refuse to give up.

I love how Donica described the restarters on this list. In fact, one of the things I like about this list is that includes people from all places along the weight managment spectrum from newbies to old hands to re-starters. I'd also like to say that I especially appreciate that those folks who are maintaining their weight loss stay with us here and give us inspiration and encouragement!
