For anyone who can answer this question: I have just noticed that under our names when we post is a designation: Preferred Member 100# Club, Preferred Member 30#Club, Trusted Member, Regular Member or Newbie. Have these designations been there all the time? It doesn't take much to figure why Mike is a member of the 100# club. With that reasoning then, Jeanette, having lost 30#+ is a member of the 30# Club. I and a couple of others have also lost 30+#'s. So why am I designated a trusted member and others just as regular members. Is there something that I have missed? How do you get to be a Preferred Member? :scratchhead:

Oh... me... me... me pick me, I know the answer... Teacher pick me...

I asked the same thing of Tim eariler. He is messing around with a little "spice" for the board... I noticed I was in the 100 club (obvious reason) but I was a little jealous that Jeanette was in the preferred club - I was gonna cry foul.

He is adding Avatar symbols as he is playing with them... They are "in process"

And Maggie, in my book, you are a PREFERRED MEMBER!!

Hi Maggie,
I think I may have opened a can of worms here.... :oops:

I'm still tweaking the ratings thingy. This forum allows you to automatically rank memebers according to how many posts a member makes, which isn't necessarily a great way to rate people, but should add some color to the forum. I'm open to any input and ideas from everyone on what might make interesting rankings.

Right now i've got it set so that you don't quite make a "Preferred Member" yet, but don't worry, in our books you're more than a preferred member and you'll be getting there soon as your posts increase.

There's also other ratings for the #'s "Clubs". I posted in the web room how to get them put on your profile. You can read about that here:

Thanks Unca Tim........Now it all makes sense to me. A great idea, too.
I recently wished for more participants on the forum. Well, be careful what you wish for, right? I am so excited that we have so many newbies signing on. Since I haven't been here as long as Jeanette and Mike, I don't have as many posts, but I am working on it. I'll be in that Preferred Club before you know it. Maggie

Hi Sher..........We are designated a member of a certain group according to how many times we have posted a topic or a reply. If you click on the membership list above there is an indication of how many times each person has posted. It only stands to reason the longer you have been here, the more posts you will likely have. You will move up as you attain a certain number of posts. Does that explain it? Maggie
