I just wanted to let everyone know that Gerald is still in the hospital.


Getting better day by boring day…you know how it I when a person is not sick enough to be conked out and but not well enough to go home – the days drag by.

He had a very nasty abscess and he nearly had to hang up his Spidey tights for good.

His wound will continue to need the attention of a visiting nurse once he does come home. This could take up to six months to totally heal and until then, there is a vacuum pump placed within his body to remove the infection.

He is getting bored. No internet access in the hospital…pray for a fast recovery!

I know he would enjoy a note or a card from his MakeMeThinner Forum Family. You may send me a private email and I’ll send you his address.

Dr. Andersen is coming to Portland for a training this weekend and we have the pleasure of meeting with him for supper this evening.

We also are picking up one of our new Health Advisors who is flying in from North Carolina for the conference, too. Of course, I’ll post a picture of NE Gal in S next week when I get a chance. She has now lost over 130 pounds.

Terry, Unca and I will be at the TSFL conference this coming weekend in Portland, Oregon, Friday March 11, 2005 – Sunday, March 13th so if you request Gerald’s address, I’ll do my best to respond when I get home at night. Then I am going out of town until next week but will have my lappy topper with me.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement to Gerald. I know you will be a blessing to him!

I did a little digging around and found his address and sent him a card yesterday.

I am new to the forum, and just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for Gerald to heal quickly and completely. Looking foward to hearing more of your's and Gerald's correspondence. And to find out why he is called Spidey! Enjoy your trip to the conference.

He's called Spidey because of his very cool and very funny avatar, an animated dancing little Spiderman.... Hilarious. If you find some of his posts here from a few weeks ago, you can see it! Hopefully we'll all be seeing a lot more of that avatar very very soon...

I spoke with Gerald Wednesday, March 16th just as he arrived HOME! Yes, he is home now! Woo Hoo! Grateful for everyone's prayers!

I am still out of town and will be back and ready to post consistently on the 21st!
