Frozen Fruit & Shakes

Postby blondeangel7782 » October 8th, 2006, 7:52 am

Hey Ladies & Gent's~

I'm fixen to jump back on the cruise of the wonderful MF.. I was just wondering since I will be going to the grocery store for my L&G supplies and condiments for these :puke: vanilla shakes I had a few questions:

1. Can I use frozen no sugar added fruits?

2. Can I use just about any extract for shakes?

3. What other things should I keep in the fridge or pantry for doctoring?

Thanks in advance for the help!

1. Absolutely no fruits of any kind. Frozen, no sugar added or not. Fruits contain tons of sugars, which are carbs, in their natural form.

2. Try using the DaVinci or Torani syrups to doctor things up.

3. ICBINB (i can't believe it's not butter SPRAY only), just about any spices that you would like, just watch for any with carbs, calories etc. And watch your serving size closely.

Several people have stated "If it's not in the Quick Start Guide don't put it in your mouth"...I agree overall. That's a good rule of thumb.

Happy shopping and happy shaking!
You're gonna do GREAT!!!!!

Alas, I think its no to the fruit. In the quick start book (or somewhere in the materials), I read that just one piece of fruit can knock you out of ketosis.

I use a variety of extracts.

But I am a newbie... :-P
