Double Up

Postby TamiL » March 2nd, 2004, 12:45 pm

I read somewhere...that you could "double up" on shakes if you have missed or didnt get a chance to eat all morning. I had to do this yesterday and today just to get my shakes in. my concern is that I am overloading my calories all at once?? will this cause me to get out of Ketosis?? I mixed 2 shakes together to "catch" up with the day..just wanted to make sure this is "legal" and im not causing Harm to those little ketones that are robbing my fat cells!! ;)

It's legal IF you don't make it a daily habit. It's very important to get all five supplements in. If you can avoid it, don't double up at the end of the day.

Take a look at your daily schedule and see if you can't fit in your five a day spaced out. You may have to make some adjustments, but I bet you can do it!!

Gota agree w/Jeanette on this one. Yes, but don't make a regular habit of it.

Remember, Ketosis is all realitive. You are in a M-I-L-D state of Ketosis, not an extreme one. Your shakes/suppliments are only 90-100 calories each. Having 2 instead of 1 will not toss you out. I can sniff a jelly donut and inhale more than 200 calories. (that was a joke)

I took 2 on more than one ocassion in the beginning, as I just plain forgot to take the one at the designated time.

Ya ain't hurting anything, just get in all 5!!
