Done with the first 3

Postby Allie » August 2nd, 2006, 9:41 am

Hello Everyone,
My name is Allie and I have made a few posts as a guest, but have now joined. I am 21 years old and just started nursing school. I am 5'10" and weigh 210lbs. My goal weight is 150 lbs because my doctor said that it is the absolute healthiest weight for a girl of my height.

Just before I started medifast, but after I had ordered my first shipment, my boyfriend of three years sat down and told me that unless I do something to take better care of my self, he will leave me. At first I was really mad because that was a really jerky thing to say, but then I realized that he was just saying it because he cares. He wants me to be healthy and happy.

I finished my third day yesterday, and really had no problems. I am not going to tell my boyfriend what I am doing until the results become visable. I also signed up for a rock climbing class that starts at the end of august. I am excited about exercising soon. I plan to walk every morning. I even have 2 routes planned. one that is only 1 mile, and 1 that is 3 miles. I still have to wait another 11 days to start, but at least I am getting excited.

I also wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support. I am so glad that this forum is here. Expect to see alot more posts from me.

Allie

WOW Allie,
You are on your way to slimdom. :D I'm glad your boyfriend wants you to be healthy too. You will be. The first three days are over and I see you're waiting to start the exercise. That's great. Just be very very compliant, drink all your water and follow the Quick Start Guide and you'll do fine. Soon those extra pounds will be a thing of the past.
I'll be watching for you :D

First off welcome. Tankie (another member here) and I eat quite a bit of sashimi. as our Lean and Green Regarding the oz weight this has come up as a question before. To be safest follow what the start-up guide says although as some have pointed out raw fish has a lot of water so you may be able to have an extra oz or two.

You're off to a great start. And yes, do it for YOU

Welcome....
As far as the sashimi goes I usually stick with 7oz (even with the extra water weight) because even 7oz is a whole lotta raw fish and I am stuffed!!!

Welcome!!!!! This is a great place to go for Support. Good luck. And by the way, I am not telling my boyfriend about starting Medifast either, he never said one mean thing about it, but I just want to surprise him when he sees me starting to shrink. I can't wait till the day that I can wear something sexy for him and not feel self-concious.

You'll be hot in no time!!!!!!!! Good Luck.
