Day 3

Postby Aerie » May 31st, 2006, 6:04 pm

Well unlike with 99.7% of any diets I've tried in the past I made it to Day 3. And I'm feeling pretty good. Some hunger but manageable. I work very very long hours; sometimes up to 36 at a time. Followed by 12 hours of sleep so I've having to play a little with the frequency of my meals. When I'm awake I'm eating every 2.5 and then I'm eating almost as soon as I get up from sleeping. NO way in hell I'm cutting back on my nappy nap time

One choice I made is to tell everyone that asks that I'm doing MF. Rather than denying I have a weight problem and so therefore why would I ever be on a diet? I'm just being open about it. It's refreshing to just walk around with my shaker and address any questions which may arise. Rather then eating in private and then fending off questions about why nobody ever sees me eating.

I've also noted my energy level is good. I thought I'd be feeling groggy and tired but not so!

I'm not going to weigh myself before one week on MF and I'm hoping to see some numbers moving. If not I'm hoping not to be crushed too badly. I do feel like I'll be seeing a loss though. Fingers are crossed.

Thanks for listening guys.

Image DRM,

What a schedule you have, and what a great attitude!
I love that you made a choice to be open about your MF program.
The support will be so much better when people see your comittment and determination to be healthy and trim.

You will see those good numbers on your scale when you weigh after one week. Sounds like you are doing things right...your energy level is good.
That is a beautiful part of our plan...and also, along with your energy, your hunger will diminish.

Good to have you with us DRM.

Hi Drm and welcome,
Love your attitude too.
If you're going a whole week without weighing, just be sure your pants don't fall off....:)

Not kidding....it happens around the forum regularly.

Good God. NOBODY wants to see that. Maybe I outta buy a belt or better yet a pair of suspenders.

DAY 4 feeling strong! I am really surprised so far that this diet can keep up with my tough work schedule. It's definitely been the downfall of many diets in the past. We've had a lot of late night emergencies but I've still been able to avoid really bad cravings and stay on plan. I really can't believe how easy this has been so far.

I'm looking forward to my first weigh in!

Welcome....glad to see you have made it another day! I also made sure everyone knew at work that I was dieting. It helps because I know they are scrutinizing my lunch L&G. Now there are 20 people helping to keep me on plan. It has also spurred two others in my office to pick up a weight loss challenge.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your first weeks results.

Congratulations on coming out of the closet at work. Now you can slurp proudly :beerbeer: in the sun. Some body was going to notice that you were melting in front of their eyes sooner or later, anyway!
