Day one

Postby heres2me » February 18th, 2008, 10:04 am

Okay...I'm doing this starting today. I've tried to start a few times, but didn't have the willpower. I have a little more now, but I forgot how hard the first few days are. I had my shake for breakfast, then some tomato soup, and just had a bar. I don't know why, but I'm starving! I've had about 24 oz. of water so far. Anyway, please tell me how to get through these first few days. I know I'll be fine after that.

Hi Heres2me

If you can get through the first 3 days you can do it. Just drink our H2o. Drink as much as you can, it will really fill you up. Every time I have a supplement I try to drink 16 oz of water. I know it sounds like a lot :D

Oh and by the way WELCOME

1. Get busy to get your mind off of food.

2. Hot tea or coffee

3. Boullion (I used this any time I got hungry in the first few days)

4. Take a nap.

5. Drink lots of water. (1/2 of your current weight in ounces of water)

6. All of the above.

Jo's given you excellent advise! Stay focused on your goal and rest assured that while you are having a difficult time right now in a couple of days you will feel better for it. You have begun a plan that REALLY works! My best wishes to you! :D

Heres2me - You stated that you haven't had the "willpower". Something Dr Phil said on one of his shows that really struck home with me - he said that it's NOT about willpower - it's about reprogramming.
Good Luck to you!
