Can you replace your "lean" with cottage cheese?

Postby Guest » March 2nd, 2006, 4:37 pm

When looking through the booklet, I noticed that vegetarians can substitute low fat cottage cheese for their "lean". I am not a vegetarian, but I do enjoy cottage cheese on occasion.

Is this something that should strictly be done if you are a vegetarian, or can a carnivore like myself do this occasionally?

It is fine for you to use cottage cheese as you lean in your lean and green.......come to think about it that sounds really good

Hey, Miss Guest,

Cottage Cheese makes a great substitute for the Lean.

I discovered that I could use Egg Beaters for a great omelet for a weekly change. I saute (in Pam) frozen onion, green and red peppers, a few mushrooms (total about a half cup of these) and spices of course. Fold into the omelet. Yummy, yummy! :flip: Add another cup of veggies for the Green and ENJOY!

Isn't it great that we can have a variety on MF and feel soooo satisfied :?: :?:

Good cooking and shaking, pal,

Lizabette
