Biki, you have challenges that most of us do not have to deal with and you did a wonderful job of losing the weight before. You will be back at your goal weight and into maintenance by this time next year.... Exciting!

Wow....a few hours sleep and you lose 1.4 lbs! That's great!!! I have read that quality sleep is vital to weight loss, must be true. Not a good thing for me since I never get any quality sleep!

Sorry you ran low on supplements but I am glad you found out what to do! Been in the same situation myself and tried the extra L&G, sugar free yogurt, etc. and still managed to lose while waiting on my shipment. Oh, and I'm with everyone else...toss the chili! One time I tried to eat some that was just 6 or 7 months past the expiration and...oh my! That was some seriously nasty stuff!!!

Wow! It's like the family is reuniting here! There are a few others who I miss and who've been absent for ages, but it's great to see you back and doing well, Biki!

I'm still around, but generally just pop in to the Maintenance forum periodically or touch base when the mood strikes. By all means, touch base if you'd like!

Cheers,

Lauren

Tawanda thank you so much for the encouragement. I just still have a long way to go. Caught a view of myself this morning at the doc's office in a different mirror than I'm used to and was SHOCKED. My belly was HUGE. I left home thinking I looked cute. It doesn't look that way in my mirror. Maybe it's the lighting....
Alison my shipment is out for delivery and should be here any time! Good to know that those desperation measures work. Didn't have to use them, but all I have left is soup. I have read about the role of sleep in weight loss too. If we could just get 8 uninterrupted hours of sleep no telling how well we would do. Sometimes if i'm lucky I can sleep 6 hours in a row.
Holberry :cleader: I'm so excited to see you too and get this place rocking and rolling. With a whole lot of shakin' going on!!!!

I too would love to have 6 straight hours of sleep, at this point I would be happy with 4 or 3. My doctor refuses to give me anything like Ambien or Lunesta. It really sucks. I hate mirrors sometimes too, especially when you think that you picked the perfect shirt and pants and then you realize nope, not really. Of course I am still struggling to accept that I am looking a little better. You have such a wonderful attitude-I need some of it to rub off on me. I am in a really really bad place right at this moment.

Sooner, sorry you are in a bad place. You are a beautiful intelligent woman. And so athletic. I envy you! I am sure you are looking a lot better after your weight loss and workouts! I wish there were something more I could do. But you're in the right place here on the board. You can find the support and inspiration here.

Never really got back to bed. Up .6 pounds. Kind of annoying. :x I was perfectly compliant yesterday except for going 5 hours between two of my supplements. I wasn't even hungry yesterday so I thought for sure I was in the "zone" and would get a drop, if even a little one. I didn't even have any pickles or celery. Ah well, plenty of time until Sunday! :shades:
