Tomorrow I start over. I didn't gain all my weight back, but if were to gain 7 more pounds I would have. Everyone has a story about how the weight came back on and mine starts last August. I had to be intubated in the hospital because of an illness. I acquired an antibiotic resistant staph infection. It colonized my left lung. I was mostly in in bed for months and after 7 or 8 antibiotic treatments I was cured. It took almost a year. I was unable to exercise or do much and used food for comfort. Ice cream, Pop Tarts and cheeseburgers. I still have problems with exercise because I developed asthma after my lung infection and it is exercise induced. This past week I tried to start climbing stairs again for exercise and out of 6 attempts at 4 flights of stairs had 2 asthma attacks. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which makes me very tired and achy. Despite these obstacles I will succeed again!

Wow I am so sorry with everything that has happened in the past year.

You are a strong woman and you will conquer this. Hope you have a great 2010.

And I know about the bathroom breaks it stinks, but it is cleaning out your body. I am cheering for you :cleader:

Thanks T. It was a nice surprise. I was afraid I might weigh MORE than yesterday and have to take another FAT picture!

Hi! I am new to the forum, but I try to get on here at least once a week. I am sort in a rut for the last two/three weeks and I have gained 1.5 since Thanksgiving so I have to work that back off. Sorry to hear about your massive health problems, especially the asthma-it makes the exercise so much harder. You seem to have a great mindset, so good wishes for you!

Thanks Soonergirl. Funny how I used to take the ability to breathe for granted. But I have my inhalers and can walk without attacks just can't jog. I see you live in McKinney. I am originally from Dallas. I really miss Texas.

Where are you at now? I am originally from Oklahoma, but the town I grew up in was only about an hour and half from Dallas, so I am more familiar with Texas than Oklahoma. I really love living here and probably wouldn't move anywhere else.

That's a very busy area right now. My dad lives right outside of Richmond, so I am somewhat familiar with D.C. as well-almost went to Georgetown. I wouldn't like the high pressure climate that seems to permeate the area. Dallas is kind of laid back, but Austin would be even better!
