HEY !!! How cool would that be? I was gonna ask you how far it was. My flight runs through Dallas/Ft Worth both ways, but the three of us getting together would be sooooo cool!!

SA is about a 5-hr drive from the Big D. :burnout:

Bren, do you have a layover in Dallas??? If worse comes to worse ...

I wonder if there's any availability on your flight from Dallas to SA? I could connect with you even if it's for the day. We NEED to talk

It would be so much fun to visit the Riverwalk together, don't you think Skye??

Oh how fun it is you guys are getting together! Back in the day, I would put together dinners with the Arizona board members and we just had the greatest time! I wanna go................waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

hehe, OKAY LADIES! You know I'm in...what do I have to do to get signed up for your little contest??? I took my weight and measurements on my first day back on plan (Feb 4). IF you REALLY wanna see I'll post them here.

And I would SOOOO be into a big get together when Bren visits! Everyone's invited! The weather here has been decent. We're in for some nasty stuff over the weekend but I'm sure it's going to be shorts/sleeveless tops by the time Bren visits! Not to rub it in--but I SO don't miss the snow! This is our first official winter season not stuck in snowland. Maybe next year we'll visit Indiana over Christmas break but this year I was loving not seeing the stuff!

25 days til Bren gets here! We've got time to get something figured out! Someone make plans!

I am still up and down with my compliance but am getting stronger and will be THE WINNER !!!

Don't tell Bren and DeeDee or the otheres but I am going to kick some but in this whole thing ! You can come along too, but watch out !

I know EXACTLY what you mean about not missing the snow, Skye! Being from Chicago, I still remember the bitter cold and what it was like to shovel the driveway so you could get out of the house!! Came to Dallas in 1990 and have not missed the frigid weather at all. My Chicago family sometimes brings up the Dallas heat, but I just tell them, "You don't have to shovel heat!!" :lol:

Bren PM'd me with her flight details. This may be doable!! :yay:

It will have to be a short visit on my part because I have a commitments on Wednesdays. Still have to check my calendar for other things though. I'm going to call Bren this weekend and chat more with her about it.

I'm so glad you've decided to join the challenge! Good for you!! Sounds like a fun way to keep each other motivated--and the $$ is always a good incentive too! :roflmao:

How funny that you both are from the upper mid-west and now both live in Texas! Yea and um, Skye - don't let Pam fool you - I am so on track for winning this contest it is almost sad to invite people to join us! I mean, I just hate to take your money and all. But it is a good incentive for you to stay on plan. Just don't get your hopes up though cuz I am so gonna win. :-P

Okay, I'm BACCKKK. We've been fighting a cold in my house for the last week or so. I finally got hit with it on VALENTINE's day. Not that we celebrate too much-our anniversary is Feb 21 so we usually focus more on that. Anyway, chest cold and all I'm back.

Yess Pam, I think we both started posting to the board right around the same time. I've actually been mfing off and on since Feb 8 LAST year. UGH. I'm one of those people that takes one step forward and two steps back. I like to tell people that I have to try things a few times before they stick.

Hiya Merry! I like the bumper sticker. I have told my family over and over since getting here "I feel like I've found my home". I NEVER want to live somewhere where it snows. I'm originally from northcentral Indiana (think NOTRE DAME--South Bend area). We lived in Mass for a few years and I can so do without the 18 inches of snow dumped from each storm that seemed so NORMAL there.

And KATIE--I am SOOOOO gonna win this challenge. I love competition. It brings out the best in me.

Ok, gonna go try and catch up on some journals! Hope everyone is having an awesome on plan day! I'm kicking tail-better keep up so I don't just take your $$.
