101 Degrees!

I cannot believe the temps we are having in Philly. It was already 87 degrees and humid at 7:00 this morning!

I feel your pain. As you know we had very high temps over a 100 for 2 weeks staight. But thank the lord the past week or so it's been in the 80's again and so pleasant.

Here in Northern NY it is supposed to be 105 with the heat index today.

Last night at 11:00 it was still 97 degrees here. 101 is low normal for us this time of year. The winds are starting to blow again, and we still have not had any decent rainfall. I pray that the fires don't start up again.

At least our heat out here was dry. Back there I can't even imagine 101 degrees plus humidity. I would die. :cry:

I hate the heat, but only because I'm tired of random people talking to me about the weather at work.

I always try to change the subject to something interesting, but it never works.

I have a lot of different methods to avoid small talk. Today, I narrated my own conversation.

Some of my other favorite things to do are staring at the person without saying anything, or responding to the question/comment by talking about something completely different.
