Donna - I am glad you decided to continue. And actually when I look at your ticker you have lost nearly 40 pounds in 4 months. What other plan gives that kind of results? Besides, you can't quit - you were the first person that inspired me to start medifast when I was checking out the forum!!!

Thanks Linda, I can't imagine inspiring anyone. I haven't seen another plan like this one! My results, and people like you who encourage me, make me want to keep going.

I exercised yesterday evening and actually used heavier weights. Didn't get to walk this morning but my husband says he will walk with me this evening (we'll see how that goes). I really wanted to walk every day and work up to jogging. I will be working out this evening with weights also.

Had a good medifast day yesterday!

That's what I did and it has worked out well! I love jogging. Maybe because it was such a struggle to get the right kind of bras to contain me fully. The third time was the charm!

I might try jogging after my surgery on the ankle, but there just isn't anyway I can do it now.

I have a neighbor who is already in great shape that would be gone for an hour, or more, jogging around the neighborhood. That's what I want to be able to do someday.

My walking buddies could not walk this morning and I'm too chicken to go out to the track by myself when it is still dark. Sometimes there are others out there but you never know. Guess I should set up my treadmill to use it on those days but I much prefer being outside.

Hey There,

Just checking in to see how you are doing. I see you are doing great and you are back on track. I am so glad you got through your rough spot, it sure has paid off for me to stick to it, and it will pay off for you too!!

I love your goal to jog. I wish jogging had worked out for me, but it didn't. I guess just the fact that I even attempted the Couch to 5K is a statement of how far I've come from the couch to couch days! Isn't it amazing how our frame of mind is changing as well as our bodies!

Walked this morning and actually jogged a quarter mile. I could have jogged a little farther but the ladies I walk with were ready to leave. I believe I will take my radio with me tomorrow and continue on after they leave. I did 1.25 miles this morning. Also worked out last night.

I have to work again today so I'll check back later.

Thanks Biki! :D

There is a 5K on November 17th and I'm wondering if that is to soon for me to attempt. I haven't been walking that long but I would have a month to work up to a good jog. Any thoughts?

I don't know. I'm not a jogging expert, just having started 3 weeks or so ago. I would find a training program online if I were you and follow that to make sure you aren't pushing yourself too hard.

I am thinking I will not be ready in a month to jog a 5K but I could walk/jog it pretty easily. I don't know what I'm going to do but you can sign up as late as 2 days before the race.

This morning my right knee was bothering me a little bit so I only walked a mile. This evening I'm working out and also bowling so I wanted to cut my walk short.

Both my friends called this morning and said they were not walking so I went out by myself. I was pretty nervous being out on the track by myself with very little light. I did enjoy listening to my radio while I walked though. I walked .75 mile and jogged .75 mile this morning and will be working out this evening.
