Thanks, guys. It was even still down today (well, up 0.4, but for the usual reason). I know it's just a number, but I FEEL thinner. I checked my BodyBugg stats, and I had an average daily deficit of 550 for the past week. So that's what I'm aiming for this week. Some days a little higher, some a little lower, but an average of 550.
My running's progressing some, too, which is nice. This week I'm walking half a mile and running three-quarters, for 75 minutes (total today was 5.57 miles, with a couple of short speed intervals). Next week or the week after, I'm going to walk half a mile, run a mile, for the same 75 minutes. (And no, I haven't filled the Rx for beta blockers. I've pretty much decided not to try them.)

Just stopping by for a sec. Teemu's bloodwork was much better yesterday, so I'm very relieved. He's supposed to get it checked one more time, in two weeks.
And the other good news: 124.4. That's some sort of miracle, and the lowest I've been since I was about 30 (and then I got below 125, to 120, for about five minutes; this time I think I could actually maintain it well).
I'm off to go walk, but just had to report that. YAY.

Thanks! When I hit 123, do I still get to claim the 80-pound club, even though I haven't been on Medifast for years?

You claim whatever you want. Regardless of Medifast, you are an inspiration for those of us who struggle with weight issues, showing that it can be done, that it can be taken care of and that our goals can be achieved.
(Oh, and does that mean that your high start weight was about 203?)

Absolutely Robin....
Isn't this month an anniversary for your maintenance too? Let me know how many years and i'll update your maintenance image.

You're right, Unca, I actually forgot about that! It was sometime in August, I think. Three years, I think?
And thanks, Stihl. Yes, I started at 203. I can't imagine ever being that size again. And as much as I whine about exercise, I can't imagine being a couch potato again, either.

Thanks, T! I'm still holding a chair for you; I'm expecting you back here in maintenance in January! It's getting lonely in here again.
Meanwhile, we're back in triple digits and I got almost no sleep last night, so I wasn't expecting the scale to be my friend, but ... 124.0!! I don't know whose metabolism I stole, but I want to keep it!

Morning, Robin! Mazel tov a million times over on the MAJOR weight loss achievement! Geez, 124 lbs, insane and fantastic, you must be kvelling! :-) (just for us, I s'pose)
I am thrilled for you, and congratulate you on the 3 years maintenance as well. We both know that maintenance is more work than the weight loss plan itself, because it's all about decisions, decisions, decisions...but you've obviously navigated the way with great success.
I am super psyched for you, and hope you continue to enjoy the process!
Cheers,
Lauren

Thanks, Lauren! It's nice to hear things are going so well for you, too!
I have to say, though, it's not nearly so much work anymore, thanks to the BodyBugg. It's taken a lot of the guesswork out of things for me.

Congratulations! You are truly an inspiration for me! You are proof that one can change and maintain a major weight loss, yet still live a happy and normal life. Thanks for keeping me motivated-I have had a really bad off week, but now I need to move forward.
