Motivational Quotes

Postby Unca_Tim » April 20th, 2005, 10:54 pm

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?

Unca Tim..........thanks so much for posting that..... ......that is an awesome exercise to practice every day....... :exercise: ......to pick one thing to let go of each day...week..or month and practice leaving it behind us so we can freely move forward.....it's much like not being able to move freely due to excess flabbage....well excess baggage can also cripple us... :sadblue: ....and debilitate our health... ...totally mess with our minds....

Great Quote Unca Tim. I was sitting here thinking what I could let go of today. I am going to let go of the fear of people taking pictures of me. My husband often tells me that our children will not be able to remember me with family photos when I am gone, because there are no photos of me.

Thanks for the deep thought. Can't wait to tune in next time to "Deep Thoughts by Unca Tim". :pagesturn:

Yesterday's failures are today's seeds that must be diligently planted to be able to abundantly harvest Tomorrow's success.

Yeah, but why did I wait so long to become what I might have been. :x Because I might have been what I could have been for a long time now. Or........maybe I could have been what I might have been and always hoped to be for what might have seemed like or might have felt like my whole life. :scratchhead: Confused yet? I know I am.

Thanks Spunky....:)

That one reminds me of one that always sticks in the back of my mind.

Be all you can Be

I think that was one of the US Marines slogan.

Life's too short to not enjoy it to the fullest.

My DH will have served all of us in the United States Army for 20 years come June 5th! BE ALL YOU CAN BE is my favorite saying of all times!!

Now we are "AN ARMY OF ONE" and that saying works well here too!

This morning in my email, I read a great quote.

"You can be on the right road, but your still gonna get hit if you're not moving!"

How true is that?!?
